August Twenty First

We’re watching Furry Vengeance with Brendan Frasier… It’s silly but funny and son3 likes it…

I forgot to mention yesterday that when we got son2’s material at JoAnn’s… when son2 finally found the right kind of material in black he needed for his pillow he is making for home economic at school… he brought the bolt which was 40% off to the counter and pulled a number to have a yard cut… meanwhile I found a yard of the exact material in the remnant area for 50% off… good deal! of course while we were in line paying, they were calling his number… oops sorry…

I am back… the movie ended… wrestled with son2 and son3, tickle fight… put away dinner… sat with son2 and hubby outside for a bit… and now we are watching an episode of Bones from season 2…

Son1 and girlfriend ended up going camping with some friends last night… girlfriend had camping supplies but off son1 went, no change of clothes or a toothbrush… too far from home to get anything…  ewwwww… lol… tonight they are off with the same friends having a BBQ with tri tips that son1 marinated for the last couple of days…

Today was a nice quiet day… got to sleep in til 8am… hubby made breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, toast and juice… Saturday morning talk with son2 and son3 on their week… hubby did yard work and hung some curtains in the front living room and did a quick grocery shop… son2 did some chores… and I cleaned all the kitchen counters, ran the dishwasher twice, washed two loads of laundry and tried to fix the main internet computer and put ribs in the crock pot… still have to put away the laundry and the sink is full of dishes again… we have decided to replace the CPU for the main internet computer… it’s ten years old and has crashed a couple of times… now we keep getting error boxes every time we try to open enternet explorer… the CPU is still usable so will go to son2 for doing homework and playing games… just not powerful enough anymore for the internet…

Danny had a bit of an adventure today… hubby was replacing a board on the fence and I told son2 to let Danny out in the backyard not knowing that hubby was fixing the fence… so guess while hubby was out front getting the board Danny slipped out the fence in the back… and hubby put in the new board, locking him out… was at least an hour and a half before son2 and hubby kept hearing scratching at the fence, thinking it was Holly… hubby opened the front door and in came Danny, who went straight to his water bowl… don’t where all he went but he had a little outing and luckily came home… of course he knows where the food is…

Today was a nice long day… even now it is only 9:30pm… of course I started this entry at 7:30pm… son3 is settling in his room with a movie… tired out from playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 all day… son2 is tired and falling asleep in the chair next to me… hubby and I are getting ready to watch more Bones and he is bringing a popsicle…

Today I ate: Breakfast~scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, juice, vitamins and I tried a green tea tablet today… Lunch~cola… Dinner~pizza, scrambled eggs, sausage, broccoli, cauliflower, beans , rice, tortilla chips, water… not as much as it sounds, had a bit of each, except the beans and chips, I had seconds… and now I am having a banana popsicle…

Tomorrow is back to work… another day of setting the ad and opening boxes and putting away shoes… son2 has homework and laundry to do… and son3 has to finish his ‘All About Me’ poster…
