May Twenty Ninth...

Happy Memorial Weekend! Hope everyone is enjoying their three day weekend... I only have a one day weekend and hubby has a two day weekend with a working day in between...

Son1 is off four wheeling in his Jeep and camping for the weekend... He has also gotten a Full Time Job... Woo Hoo... He has another week at Sears and then he'll start the new job... Warehouse work for plumbing supplies...


Hubby was doing yard work today... finishing up the planting of the new roses... here's the second ground cover rose under the bird feeders...

ground cover three and four around the lemon tree... hubby wants to get one more ground cover rose to go next to the Japanese Maple tree... and we thought we didn't have any more room for roses...

today the third came, can't wait to start it...

and son3 got new books to read for the summer... only seven more days of school!!

Gardening...

On Saturday hubby and I also did a bit of yard work and went to the local nursery to get four new ground cover roses... hubby moved one of my alligators to the front yard to cover a spot that no matter what we plant there doesn't survive...

Sky on Saturday... I cannot believe it is almost June and we are still getting rain and temps in the 60's and 70's... It should be in the 90's, not that I'm complaining...


I love these little flowers, Indian Blankets, all the way from Martha's yard in Florida....

Geese...

On Saturday took hubby on a walk to see the baby geese I had noticed at our neighborhood water overflow reservoir...


It's surrounded by a chain link fence so had to take the pictures through the fence...


Brought some bread to entice the geese over...




Here they come...








The baby geese and their parents stayed on the far side however so this was as close as I could zoom in... hubby forgot to check his batteries before we left or he could have gotten way closer...
