Halloween Eve…

Hubby and I are watching Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp… We watched Pumpkinhead 2 yesterday… with still Trick or Treat and both Jeepers Creepers to watch… Along with hubby’s job hunting, my going to work, the boys going to school, and Halloween planning, the month has flown… I had planned a week off before Halloween that quickly went to a four day weekend to a three day weekend with a VIP visit on Tuesday… So here it is finally Halloween day tomorrow… We can’t wait to set up the yard for the arrival of the trick or treaters… The last two years Halloween was on a Friday and Saturday… so wondering if we will still have a full night of trick or treaters with school the following morning…

We had lots of rain last night but now the skies are clear and no rain for Halloween… with cool temps this year too…

Today son1 was off to work at his part time job… He’s working two jobs now, about 62 hours a week… He was supposed to get the Jeep smogged but didn’t check the hours of the shop being open on weekends, so will have to squeeze it in sometime during the week unless he found a different shop open…

Son2 made Halloween sugar cookies in home economics this week, so I had him make some for us today… He and son3 decorated cats, ghosts and pumpkins… In the morning they will carve Jack O Laterns…

I have been busy the last couple of weeks with work, doing homework with son3, making dinner, doing laundry, playing on facebook, walking with hubby, and eating…

My new eating habits went out the window in October… causing me to gain five pounds… However I had originally lost 33 pounds and I now am back down a pound and a half… So I am treating October as the month that my body got used to being at a 30 pound weight loss and how much I can get away with at keeping it that way… With work and walking son3 to school and back I have been keeping myself active and moving…

So come November First I have big plans for the month… Of getting back to my better eating habits of eating as one person, no snacking and seconds with a goal of losing around seven pounds to get to my goal of a 35 pound weight loss; cleaning the house; getting son3 into better school habits of sleeping, doing homework quicker and reading every day; and helping hubby to find a JOB…

But for now it is Halloween Eve, time for enjoying all things Halloween…

and turkey burgers… we are having turkey burgers and french fries for dinner while we watch Smallville from last night…

October has been a busy month here with all the getting ready for Halloween… The past couple of years we have finally talked the boys out of going trick or treating and staying home to decorate the yard to scare the trick or treaters…

October…………

Sharing some pictures of me from when hubby and I went to the zoo… and when we took the boys to Hillcrest Farm to the pumpkin patch…

And since I started this entry over a week ago with intentions every day of  finishing it, but only having time to update what I ate for the day, I’m thinking I’ve gotten into a rut… So I am posting this entry so I can move on and actually write an entry…

Saturday I ate: vitamins, greet tea tablet, juice, banana… breakfast~scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, English muffin, juice… tortilla chips and salsa, cola… dinner~turkey burger, curly fries, baked beans, potato salad, fried rice with ham, water… root beer float… chocolate covered peanuts…

Sunday I ate: vitamins, juice… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… sausage dog, tortilla chips… dinner~tortilla chips, beans, fried rice with ham, chicken strips, orange soda…

Monday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water, banana… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… tortilla chips and beans… dinner~egg, ham, English muffin sandwich, chicken strip, baked beans, lemon lime soda…

Tuesday I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… BBQ chips, tortilla chips and beans… dinner~tortilla chips, beans, chicken enchilada, corn, lemon lime soda… chocolate covered raisins…

Wednesday I ate: breakfast~yogurt over cheerios, hot chocolate… lunch~ham and tomato sandwich, cola… tortilla chips and salsa… vitamins, green tea tablet, water… dinner~split pea soup, PBJ, two rolls, water… chocolate covered raisins…

Thursday I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… chicken strip, tortilla chips… dinner~split pea soup, corn, macaroni and cheese with ham, lemon lime soda bread and butter… jelly beans…

Friday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… potato chips… chocolate covered raisins… tortilla chips… orange soda… dinner~spaghetti, macaroni and cheese with ham…

Saturday I ate: vitamins, juice… breakfast~scrambled eggs, spam, hash browns, biscuits, hot chocolate… popcorn, water… cola… dinner~spaghetti, lasagna, macaroni and cheese with ham, garlic bread, orange soda… chocolate covered raisins…

Sunday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water, banana… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… cream soda… dinner~spaghetti, lasagna, zucchini, squash, corn, macaroni and cheese with ham, garlic bread, water…

Monday I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… tortilla chips, juice… dinner~spaghetti, lasagna, macaroni and cheese with ham, zucchini, squash, corn, lemon lime soda…

Tuesday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… scrambled egg, ham, cheese sandwich, orange soda… dinner~chicken, rice, peas, carrots, water…
