November Fifth

I’m not participating in the everyday of blogging in November but still trying to blog everyday in November…

I keep getting a day or two behind though…

Busy putting all the Halloween away…

And signing up for annual medical benefits…

And general house cleaning of dishes and laundry…

And watching Lil Ninja Turtle on my days off from work…

And then there’s the having to go to work…

Hubby is busy at work training for his new supervisor position…

And I’m busy at work getting ready for our annual “are you ready for the Christmas season” visit…

It’s next Tuesday…

Still lots to do…

I’m going there now…

November Second

I made Halloween foods for the family…

Mummy dogs and vampire sugar cookies…

Peanut butter cookies and more sugar cookies…

Cranberry bread, pumpkin bread, banana bread…

Pumpkin bars…

Lil Ninja Turtle carving pumpkins at his other grandma’s…

Son2 and Son3…

Both son2 and son3 were the performers in the yard this year…

Son3 was so excited that he participated, he scared quite a few trick or treaters and had photo requests…

Lil Ninja Turtle was a cow for Halloween…

After checking out the yard, he went trick or treating…

November First

We had a great Halloween…

Lots of trick or treaters for about two hours…

Lots of return trick or treaters that come just to see our setup…

By 8pm it was settling down, so we had everything taken down and back in the house by 9pm…

It took us from 10am to 4pm to set up, plus all the pre-preparation the last few weeks…

I give out pencils instead of candy…

the parents love it…

This was our seventh year, I think, decorating the yard…

I think the most fun we have is the getting ready and then hearing the screams and laughter when the trick or treaters get scared from son2 and son3…
