August Twentieth…

ButterflyWithTrailingHeartsMA16359962-0002

Friday night! We are watching Quigley Down Under with Tom Selleck… son3 is playing video games to catch up from not being able to play all week being back at school… son1 is off at girlfriend’s house…

Today was a quick day at work… went in early to set the ad… changed out some sale tables in athletic shoes… went to lunch… opened boxes… after work we went to JoAnn’s to get son2 some fabric for his home economic class so he can make a pillow… then we stopped at Taco Bell to bring home dinner… half way home we had to go back as we were missing one of son3’s items… finally got home at 7pm and here it is almost 9pm…

Today I ate: Breakfast~orange juice, vitamins… Lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… Dinner~taco salad from Taco Bell, cactus cooler…

Thursday not as quick a day at work but it went along… Spent the whole day opening boxes… did get a bit grumpy at work as it starts to wear on you to continue to do the work of several people and get no where fast… also found out the supervisor called out this week too with a migraine…

Got home at almost 6pm and son3 was still doing homework… over two hours of homework a night and the teachers say no more than forty minutes… Phooey! he has math and spelling/language every day… and last night he was writing the final  draft of his Georgia O'Keeffe report… hubby had to go to a meeting so after the boys finished up their homework and we had leftovers, I went to my room to watch the first two episodes of True Blood, Season Two… and then hubby came home and brought Its It ice cream… then we watched an episode of Bones, Season Two…

Thursday I ate: Breakfast~blueberry poptarts, orange juice, vitamins… Lunch: chimichanga, yogurt, cola… Dinner: chicken, rice, broccoli, cauliflower, potato salad, water… Its It ice cream…

Wednesday I had a day off and it was the fastest day ever… I got everyone off to work and school including son3… came home and was a on the laptop… got my entry written for The Motivation Station… accidentally deleted it… rewrote it again… watched an episode of Emergency on the Retro channel… ordered season one of Emergency, a new book called Home Comforts and a new bra at Walmart… and it was time to pick up son3 as it was early day… I got no housework done at all… did homework with son3 for almost three hours, I timed it… math, spelling sentences and write his final for his heritage report… fixed dinner… we watched Cop Out with Bruce Willis… it was hilarious… too many F@#$ words but every line in between the swearing was hilarious… son1 and girlfriend watched Hot Tub Time Machine… they said it was ok, but obviously our movie was funnier with all the laughing we were doing…

Wednesday I ate: Breakfast~Capn Crunch cereal, water, vitamins… Lunch~popcorn, yogurt, cola… Dinner~chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, rice, potato salad, water…

And now it’s Friday… Yay a day off tomorrow… but of course we have homework… argh… son2 has geometry and history… and son3 has to do an All About Me poster… I don’t want to go to school anymore… I graduated from high school about 28 years ago… and then went to college for five years… then son1 was born and six years later, I’ve been going to school ever since… I’ve found a flaw in having the boys seven years apart… as soon as one starts junior high school, another starts kindergarten… lol… three more years son3 will be in junior high and I will finally be done with elementary school…

But first it is time for the boys to get to the showers so we can have some sleep and sleep in tomorrow… no work or school!

Happy Journaling…

wow, they are right back in the swing of things with school and so much work already! I think it should be gradual and I always think no more than 30 minutes of homework a night. Kids (and moms) need their down time.

(been reading your journal all along, just was sort of on a break so I wasn't commenting, LOL, but I'm back now; WTG on your weight loss, a true inspiration indeed!)

enjoy your day off today!
