Oh The Drama!!!

Son3 has had a loose tooth for weeks, one of his top front teeth... actually a bottom tooth came out since this tooth has been loose... We keep telling him to wiggle it... Just having him let us look at it causes lots of crying and running and hiding... He was happy to go to the dentist, if it meant we would leave him alone... The last few days it has just been hanging by a root... If we could just get close enough and one quick pull and it would be out... I come home from work today and recognize the sounds of drama of hubby trying to get a look at the loose tooth... I retreat to the bedroom to change my clothes... I then hear louder crying and yelling from son3... However I hear laughter from son2 and hubby... I yell down the hall, is it finally out... Seems hubby had son3 working on wiggling it and so son2 passed by, hit son3's hand on purpose and out popped the tooth... We were rejoicing, son3 was beyond mad... However he is fine now and peace once more prevails over the house... I'm thinking the tooth fairy might owe him two dollars for this tooth....
I was back to work today... Only worked 6-12 but had to take a lunch and by 12:15 when I actually left I still wasn't done with the ad, so had to pass on to other associates, so hope they finished... and then the ad only runs til Wednesday and Thursday I have to set up a whole new ad.... We still have a visit on Wednesday so lots to do the next two days... And the only day I would have needed daycare this week if we still had it is Thursday for twenty minutes... All the other days I get off before school gets out... and then Thursday I'll use my backup plan, lol...
Hubby is busily putting away all the Halloween stuff... Son3 is now happily playing and eating nachos... I think son2 is on one of the game computers... I'm doing laundry, still have tons to put away... Now son3 is asking to play on the game computer... and trying to get son2 in trouble cause son2 didn't ask to go on the computer, lol... and I'm trying to think what I want to defrost for dinner... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........
Happy Journaling...

I just went through that with one of my grand'babes' when we were camping this summer. That tooth hung on for the longest time. I always just yanked my babes out when they got that loose...Not much drama at our house I guess. Glad all is back to normal anyway.
It's back to work for me tomorrow.

seems like a typical Sunday afternoon, LOL; how funny about the tooth; they get so attached (literally) to them; they are afraid to let them go

enjoy the week ahead

That's so funny - my youngest was always a freak about the teeth falling out, they would be there weeks longer than they should have been! Glad the tooth is finally out, I vote for a $5 from the tooth fairy :-P

Sorry you had to go back to work already, that stinks! But, I guess with the way things are these days we have to feel blessed to have our jobs.

Hope you have a great week - I'll be watching for your daily entry all month :-)

I reckon the tooth is worth a good five dollars to the tooth fairy! I'm glad it's out. Have a good week. Jeannette xx

Oh my what drama! I don't remember having any problems from my three when they had loose teeth. I think they wanted the $ more than the tooth.

I'm with Martha and Jeannette - give him FIVE! LOL But then he might want 5 everytime he loses a tooth.

Oh those were the good old days. We used to threaten to tie one end of a string to the tooth and the other end to the knob of an open door and then slam the door. LOL My son was the same as yours however...always alot of crying & carrying on. Linda in WA

OKAY now that I picked myself up off the floor from laughing so hard. Poor son3. What a dirty trick Daddy and son2 I know you enjoyed that more than you let on. Does he get trauma pay from the tooth fairy too? This just cracks me up because you have a household full of boys like my sister. Those kids used to kill each other when nobody was looking. I'm so happy I didn't have all boys God knew I couldn't handle all that. Instead he sent me the PMSing, bratty girls that want to cry and throw tantrums. Hummm... did I really get the better deal? I'll have to think about that one.
Love your stories. Hope you find something for dinner. I guess this means VACATION is over.
Hugs, Chrissie

Glad the tooth came out at last and the drama is over :o) These are the things you will remember, you can embarass him when he's older by telling his Girlfriends!

That was too funny lol. Kids and their teeth! Why do they have such a hard time with letting these teeth go? My daughter is the same way. Her last loose tooth she hardly ate for days because she was afraid of it coming out. Then she forgot, bit into an apple, out it came and she cried for hours over it!

Congratulations of the tooth son3! I bet you are happy to have it gone. I hope the tooth fairy appreciates all the hard work it took for you to get it for her.
Did I miss pictures of the boys in costume? I want to see the Joker! What did son1 do for Halloween?

Oh gosh, the tooth takes me back to my childhood days!! It was quite a drama for me too. Sounds like some good (sneaky) teamwork went on getting that tooth out!!

Yeah, I am so behind on reading my fav blogs, can you tell, lol? Hubby just lost one of his bottom teeth a few weeks ago and, of course, this is a permanent tooth. We have no dental insurance currently. Now two more bottoms are getting loose. :-(

Blessings!~

Susan

P.S. Can you believe it is November already? I am psyched cuz it means Thanksgiving! Woo Hoo! I am not so much ready for Christmas cuz Hubby still doesn't have a job. ::sigh::
