A Quiet Morning

A nice quiet morning just for me... The boys are at school, hubby is off to work... I've been checking email, ordered son2's cell phone for Christmas, made a list of what I need to get done today... Wondering why I am so far behind in reading blogs, lol, I have just not gotten into a routine of reading lately and I don't like it... Seems on blogger I write more, where's in journals, I was always reading more...

Monday night we ended up getting Japanese food at Teriyaki Fresh, it was so good, even the boys gobbled it up... And we watched Polar Express... Last night I cooked pork cube steak with all the thanksgiving leftovers and we watched Space Chimps, very cute and funny, although I fell asleep and need to watch the end...

Work was good yesterday but long as I had to stay all day, a full shift, I'm spoiled I know... But I scanned the floor and generated the report, stocked all the work boots and then spent the entire day opening boxes... We are so almost caught up...

Now today I want to put some treats in the advent calendar, laundry, dishes, pay some bills, half the Christmas cards are done and ready for the mail but need to work on the other half, clean out all the Christmas catalogs that have been filling up the house since Halloween, open the packages that have come from ordering online and make sure they are all there, a few bday cards to send out, water the plants, vacuum, cut son3's hair and of course there will be homework to do... Dinner will be easy of leftovers and we have Meet Dave to watch tonight with Eddie Murphy... Hubby wants to put the Christmas lights on the tree tonight... and it will probably be next Wednesday til he gets all the decorations done, inside and out...

Happy Journaling...

You have gotten a lot done. I sse you got some snowmen up top. Well I am glad you're writing.. if you read thats good to, but I've decided that I write before I read. Its more a record for me. With all you do, I don't see how you ever read journals in the first place.
I haven't even tried to get my tree up yet. Outside forget it we'll have to see about that.
Take care, Chrissie

Sounds like you got a lot done. I don't know how you do it all, work, leave comments that shows you have actually read our entry, and of course have time with your family. I feel like such a slacker at times! Love the snowman, he's cool.

You've been busy, busy, busy. It goes with the season. I do admire how much you get accomplished.

I don't know how you do it all! We're getting ready to watch Space Chimps now. We do need to find a better way for keeping up with blogs! I think I just have way too many these days - but how do you scale back on friends? Impossible!

my MIL just dropped by and saw our tree and started to cry. She saw many glass ornaments that were HER grandmothers....they are OLD...and they were hung when she was a kid. Megan decorated, remember. So, at least someone appreciates all that hard work!
It is always entertaining when you get gobs of things in the mail and have to go thru it all to figure out what is what. lol
Megan wants Ugg boots. She is not getting them. I hope you enjoyed your ME time. XO

We sound like we are both buried in to do lists don't we? But I have always found, better to be busy than to be bored. As long as we get some me time it's all good. Be sure to get some time for you. I know what you mean, I seem to write here more than I did reading also and have a hard time getting round to all the blogs. I still feel like I am missing someone and possibly sending email alerts to people who don't even read my blog ever LOL LOL LOL.

It is a busy time of the year. Plus keeping up with the daily things. I am having a hard time keeping up with journals and making my own entries.
Have a great day!

I don't know how you could really get caught up at your work in December. If you are almost there, that's amazing!
