I discovered Bentley Little when I read The Store…

If you think that Stephen King is scary then you can’t read Bentley Little…

He is beyond outrageous with the scary and bizarre and thinks of things that you may have thought but would never ever want anyone to know…

Actually I’ve read a couple of his books that I didn’t really like as they weren’t as scary as the books I had read by him…

But then there are quite a few In the list below that I still want to read…

  • The Revelation (1990)
  • The Mailman (1991)
  • Death Instinct (1992) (writing as Phillip Emmons) aka Evil Deeds
  • The Summoning (1993)
  • The Night School (1994)- released as University in 1995
  • Dominion (1996)
  • The Ignored (1997)
  • Guests (1997)-released in the U.S as The Town in 2000
  • The Store (1998)
  • The House (1999)
  • The Walking (2000)
  • The Association (2001)
  • The Return (2002)
  • The Policy (2003)
  • The Resort (2004)
  • Dispatch (2005)
  • The Burning (2006)
  • The Vanishing (2007)
  • The Academy (2008)
  • His Father's Son (2009)
  • The Disappearance (2010)
  • The Haunted (2012)
  • The Circle (2012)
  • The Influence (2013)

Never heard of him, but if he is scary, perhaps it is a good thing that I haven't heard of him. Wrote and published a lot of books though!

(I got an email back from the person we were wondering about; they are doing fine; just spending a lot of time on Instagram instead of blogging :)

Stephen King scares me, so I don't think I'll be reading Bentley Little. :-)

I'm afraid that Bentley Little would be too scary for me. Thanks for the warning. When I get a scary picture in my mind I wake up in the night thinking about it.... and get scared.
Then I can't get back to sleep and I'm grouchy the next day. So I'd better leave Mr.Little's books alone.
Thanks for leaving me a nice comment. Have fun with a to z.

I have enjoyed several Stephen King books but never read Bently Little. Maybe they'd be too scary for me. Some of King's books were pushing it.
