April Twenty First

I worked all Easter weekend…

We were super busy…

Sales were up Friday/Saturday but not Sunday…

But still lots of shoppers in the store on Easter up until closing at 7pm…

We had our ham last Wednesday… Son1 and DIL came over and got their basket…

Thursday hubby, I and the boys exchanged our baskets…

So sweet how you guys do baskets! I asked son yesterday, after talking to some other people who still did baskets for their "older" kids, if he felt left out because I hadn't done a basket in years for him (had done cards with money, but got out of that habit). He said no, he was glad not to have the calories, but now I'm wondering if I should put together a basket next year or just hold out for grandchildren (years away, not even close to that here :)

I'm still not happy with stores being open on Easter, but changing times have created days that seem just like any other. Thankfully there are those of us that still remember Easter is a special occasion to celebrate. It looks like everyone was treated very well by the Easter bunny!
