January Twenty Fifth

Look who turns 20 today…

He’s off house/dog sitting for son1…

Son1 said he could have a couple of friends over as long as they don’t burn down the house…

Tomorrow hubby will make hamburgers and pudding cake and we have a couple of presents for him…

His actual gift was supposed to be money for gas/car insurance/registration… but first he has to take his driving test and buy a car… He promises next month…

Twenty years ago son2 was five weeks early… the first and last time he has ever been early for anything… He’s usually putting on his shoes ten minutes before he has to be any where…

Hubby’s been at work all day…

Son3 is gaming it up on XBox with his friends and son2 via XBox Live…

They both have homework this weekend…

I have been entertaining myself…

  • reading blogs
  • Facebook
  • putting up birthday decorations
  • wrapping presents
  • papers from work
  • laundry
  • dishes
  • breakfast
  • lunch
  • snacks
  • watching TV: The Neighbors, Sean Saves the World, Spooksville, Goosebumps, R.L.Stine’s The Haunting Hour…

Leftover pea soup and cornbread for dinner…

Hubby and I have Grimm and Bones to watch…

Joyce Meyer Ministries

If you put your trust in God, you don't have to live uptight, anxious, upset & worried all the time.

All we're guaranteed is this moment. So we need to enjoy this moment, because it's the greatest gift that God has given us right now.

If you want to know what to do, get with God and get some real wisdom.

Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...

worshipping God is good for you.

In a world where there are many things competing for your devotion and worship, God is the only one that delivers and doesn't disappoint. Putting anything above God will ultimately let you down and leave you feeling empty. So sing praises, lift your hands in the air and give glory to God. It's good for you!

Happy birthday to son#2! Wow, hard to imagine he is 20! Sounds like you had a good productive day and some time to yourself!

It will be a good thing and a bad thing once son#2 gets his license :)(I'm so surprised he still hasn't gotten it :)

Happy Birthday to Son 2! I enjoyed the pictures of him. Hard to believe he is 20 already! I like your list of entertainment...ha ha. You do keep busy for sure!

Happy Birthday to your Son. I had to laugh about the being late because he sounds like me. I have even been honest about that nit to future employers but I always make up my time. I tell them I try to get to work and by Thursday I usually make it.
