November Fifteenth

I wasn’t able to post this last night so let’s see if blogger will let me post this morning…

Watching Brave with hubby and the boys…

Had leftover hamburger and pasta again…

I’m stuffed once again…

Hubby took son2 and son3 to school this morning…

Then hubby and I spent my last day of vacation going to Walmart to return his heater… bought another one of the heaters he did like, some pants for son3 who is getting too tall and the movie above…

We then picked the boys up from school… was a fast day…

Son3 had no homework so he got to play with his friend for an hour…

Although we still need to study for his geography test and his spelling test…

Then he is off for a whole week for Thanksgiving break… son2 still has school on Tuesday…

Indy Anna, son2’s arm petting her… she sits on top of her cat tree waiting for someone to pass in the hallway so she can swat them with her paw for not petting her…

I did take a stroll through the back yard today…

The pictures above are vines on the far side of the back yard that are all tangled with the neighbors vines on their side of the fence… and they are out of control going up into the tree…

Son2’s strawberries and watermelon vines still growing… and the pumpkins from Halloween…

IMG_0026

This is the side of the yard I want to cut back… to the right is the lemon tree… straight ahead are two rose bushes with a vine behind them… to the right is a purple flowered vine that is out of control…

IMG_0027

That’s the big out of control vine with purple flowers… it’s also where I saw the humming bird… in the winter all the leaves will fall off and it will just be bare branches… so then hopefully hubby will be willing to chop it way back so it can come back better in the spring…

IMG_0028

That’s the wisteria under the Crepe Myrtle tree to the left of the purple flower vine… All of these go over the fence into the neighbor’s yard… I want to cut the wisteria back and see if we can move it to the side of the back yard that looks over the street so then we can let it grow as much as it wants over our fence…

IMG_0029

All the iris are coming back and growing again including the ones in the front yard… not many blooms this past spring though…

IMG_0030

These mini rose bushes would have been trimmed back months ago but I discovered a whole bunch of baby praying mantis living in them… I’m sure they are all grown up by now so these will be trimmed back too…

IMG_0031IMG_0032

Lots of leaves falling all over the back yard… with lots more still left to fall…

IMG_0033IMG_0034

The mother of the kittens who lives across the street… she and Miss Holly were telling each other what for…

IMG_0035

Lots more leaves…

IMG_0036

The purple tree/bush that we are probably going to remove and replace with a rose bush…

IMG_0037

The Mum kitty next to the alysium that recently came back…

IMG_0038

Son2’s blackberry bush…

IMG_0039

Son2’s pineapple…

Son2’s mandarin orange tree…

Yes, your post came through just fine. Hope your day at work is a good one there. Sure looks like you all will be doing a lot of work in the back yard, here it would have to wait till springtime. The bitter weather come December would not be good for transferring or cutting back. We have to do those things in September. or Spring. And December isn't far off at all.

I heard Brave was a cute movie, but I haven't seen it yet. Hope you guys enjoyed it! Looks like you have a big backyard! Lots to take care of I would imagine!! I still can't believe it is Thanksgiving next week!
