Son1 is hooked on How I Met Your Mother… And has all of us hooked on it too including girlfriend… We just finished season 2 and now are starting season 3… Barney is so funny…

I had the weekend off for the 4th… Put the pool up for son3… Had to work on the 4th, but that’s ok as it’s time and a half and holiday pay…

Aren't the kittens so cute… of course they are asleep… all children are cute when they are asleep…

Maple says peek a boo… who wants to go on a picnic… they are so curious… she knocked the nylon cooler over and crawled in… son2 had to lift the lid to see her inside, the bag was on it’s side…  we are constantly closing them in closets and rooms… then have to follow the mew to find them again…

Hubby made his burgers on Sunday… Visit Our Krazy Kitchen this Saturday for my entry at Simple Saturday… I made potato salad, corn on the cob, beans, french fries, and salad… And visit me at  The Motivation Station tomorrow, for Thursdays with Linda…

Son1 bought some fireworks that we lit off on  Sunday and Monday… and we were able to see the water park fireworks from our driveway…

Maple and Indy are always sleeping like this…

On this day, God wants you to know

... that everything that irritates you about others, is your key to understanding yourself. What angers you in another person is an unhealed aspect of yourself. If you had already resolved that particular issue, you would not be irritated by its reflection back to you.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that life is not meant to be a speedway. Slow down to savor the gifts that God has already showered you with.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that it is okay to play! When you work too much without interspersing some play into your day, you lose your vitality. Play keeps your heart light and your spirit lively.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that it is more than okay to live your joy. Whatever makes your heart sing is what God wants for you! Of course it's okay to be happy! Of course it's okay to fulfill your heart's deepest desires! What your soul most dearly and deeply desires is the very thing God wants for you.

Happy Journaling…

I am curious about that series How I Met your Mother. Maybe we need to check it out, LOL. Son got us started on LOST then when we were hooked he met a girl and we were waiting for him to be around to watch it with us (a few years back but curiosity finally got the best of us and we started watching them without him). It is good to have something like this though to enjoy and discuss among yourselves, I think helps pull families together LOL!

glad the pool got set up for the summer! I'm sure Son3 enjoys lazying in it!

LOL I worked July 4th too; time and a half is a good thing! (I think I said this same thing for Memorial Day :)
