November Twenty Third

Got hubby and son1 off to work this morning, son2 and son3 were still sleeping as they have the week out of school and I had several hours of total silence... I played on facebook, had breakfast, cleaned up the dining room getting ready for Thanksgiving... the boys got up... we discovered the tv in the family room would not work, it will play VHS and DVD but no channels... we think the digital box went out and it is not even a year old... the digital box works in my bedroom so we tried the remote from it in the family room and it would not work there... are you still even able to buy the digital boxes... got the boys breakfast... they proceeded to have second and third breakfast throughout the day... I washed three loads of laundry and put away and hung it all up including all the loads I did the other day... had some lunch... hubby came home and we went to Sears to do some more Christmas shopping... got home, had some pot pies for dinner, watched Jeff Dunham Christmas... now we are watching The Big Bang Theory and then taping Castle and going to sleep...
Happy Journaling...

The Big Bang Theory is one of my new favorite shows...love it. Sheldon just cracks me up, so does Raj. Hope you get the TV fixed..what a bummer. But if you have to, we have Dish Network and we really love it and the price is awesome.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs, Gayla

I'll have to try to catch that Jeff Dunham Christmas DVD or show; he's a bit warped with his humor but always provided a good laugh or two

sounds like son2 and son3 are enjoying their break so far :)

sorry about the TV though; at least it can still play DVD/VHS tapes. Hoping you can resolve the issue if it is a box thingy that went wrong

A few hours of silence and being alone is a good thing! Sorry about the TV...that puts a damper on things. Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Linda in Washington
