Walmart Monday

After two weeks of working Mondays, hubby and I were off together today and what did we do.... Go to Walmart of course, lol... Got the boys some jeans for school, cat food for Raisin, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, people soap, some things for Christmas, stocking stuffers, some treats for the boys advent calender, toilet paper, socks and undies, and a few other unmentionables... We checked on the TV's the boys will be getting for Christmas to update them for digital... We were there for hours... that Walmart time zone change really eats into a day.... Other than that we got the boys off to school, talked a bit over breakfast and got the boys home from school.... Now the boys are having a snack, then homework, dinner of leftovers, showers, Sarah Conner Chronicles and then bedtime... Tomorrow work and school for everyone... Right now hubby is installing the wireless weather station we got him for Father's Day, that he is finally taking a moment to see how it works... so far we haven't got it to work... it's not showing info for our time zone.... we'll give it a day or two to link with the weather station transmitter.... Otherwise nothing exciting today... The sink is full of dishes, the laundry is still waiting, bills still to pay and plants to water...
Happy Journaling...

Walmart was the big event of the day for me, too - got this week's groceries and some supplies for a big school project out of the way. Even if there's more left to do, it's nice to have one thing crossed off the to-do list. :-)

Must be the day for Walmart, my DD#1 was shopping there earlier for bins. She actually cleaned her room! Yippee!

it is easy to go into WM for one thing and end up with lots of things. Sounds like a nice day for you and DH. XO

I have to go get lost in the Walmart "zone" tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest - I ran in quickly yesterday and saw racks upon racks of clothes in one section marked down to $1, that's worth digging through for several hours, LOL! I needs lots of other stuff too and want to start getting some things for Christmas.

Happy journaling/blogging :-P

See you tomorrow :-)

The more I read blogs, the more panicked I feel about Christmas... I haven't started my shopping yet, or even thought about what to buy for people! Well done you for having done so much already :o)

Sounds wonderful to go to Walmart and get jeans... I need to buy jeans for Nick and a new coat maybe and some new shirts. He wants shoes for Christmas. Love that weather station idea for Father's Day!! Hope you get everything done on that to do list. Life is so busy!!

Glad to hear you have a NORMAL life. I'm laughing because you're off and you go to Walmart, but who doesn't. That is the biggest store my little town has.
Hugs, Chrissie

How nice to have a day off together.

I'm sure those bills and dishes were still around when you were ready to get to them...
