John 13:1-17

It was just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world; he how showed them the full extent of his love.

The evening meal was being served and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariout, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal; took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he pouted water into a basin and began to wash his disciples feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, Lord, are you going to wash my feet?

Jesus replied, you do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.

No, said Peter, you shall never wash my feet.

Jesus answered, Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.

The, Lord, Simon Peter replied, not just my feet by my hands and my head as well!

jesus answered, A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his fee; his whole body is clean. An you are clean, though not every one of you. For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.

When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. Do you understand what I have done for you? he asked them. You call me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger, greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

It was off to work again this morning… I was still in a bit of a mood…

Of course the morning did not go my way… Technology was not on my side and the handhelds were just not working for me…

So the only thing I could do was adjust my attitude and be thankful for the day…

So after going in circles all morning I finally got one and a half things done and went to lunch…

-easterblink3

I had lunch and am now reading the third book in the Vampirates series…

I then just stayed in the break room and worked on all my paperwork…

After that I put up some signs and did some counts…

I ended up staying late at work to talk to one of my old associates, give my closing associate instructions for the night and then I bought some jammies for me and batteries for my pedometer…

Once home I checked email, heated up leftovers for dinner and now we are watching Arrow and Supernatural…

Two more days til Easter… Hubby got a ham today and eggs to color… I still need to get the baskets all together for the Easter Bunny, oh that’s me now according to son3… I need to do some baking of cakes and cookies… I think I will put the ham in tomorrow morning before I go to work and then hubby can take it out when it’s done… That way on Saturday while the boys are coloring eggs I can do some baking… We’ll also be having our baskets on Saturday and eating the ham… We’ll actually be having Easter on Saturday as I am off then and have to work on Easter Sunday…

Now we are watching Hawaii Five O…

I am going to process the pictures from the zoo…

Joyce Meyer Ministries

Each time we act to improve the life of another person… we send forth a ripple of hope in what appears to be a hopeless society.

Our weakness is one of our greatest excuses. We may be weak, but God is strong, and He is willing to be our strength.

Having faith is not complicated, it is simply leaning on God in trust and confidence.

Everything we do is sacred if we do it unto the Lord and we believe that He is with us.

God forgives us for more than anyone could ever possibly owe us, and we must learn to be as merciful and forgiving as He is.

“Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good…” -Psalm 37:3

Too bad the store is open Easter Sunday. But I know you'll have a good time on Saturday. Our family celebration was last Saturday so it doesn't matter. Being together is what is important. I hope your Friday is a fantastic one!
