Son2 decorated the little tree to put in the gaming room… plus he is hosting the annual eve before Christmas eve party with his friends at our house this year… of course plans could change before then…

I had a day off today and it is over…

Hubby got son3 off to school, we had breakfast, I made a list for Christmas cards, got distracted on Facebook looking up friends, played My Zoo 2 on Facebook, checked email, took a shower, hubby-son2 and I went to Target, Christmas shopping is just about done as we are mostly just getting for son3, with a couple of things for son2 and groceries for son1, then home from Target, son3 came home, he has been doing homework, I made pizza and pasta for dinner, now we are going to eat dinner, and son3 still has homework to do after dinner…

Since they are having benchmarks next week the teacher is piling on the worksheets so they can practice for the tests… He has twelve worksheets of all subjects, 13 reading workbook pages and spelling words… now not all of this is due tomorrow, it’s due on different days of the week, however every day this week he will bring home more homework added on to this…

When I was looking up friends on Facebook this morning, I actually found a couple of friends I knew… I wonder though why no one ever searches me out and requests me to be a friend… I’m sure if I click on them they will accept my request, but that’s not the point… anyway only one did I request as I was very excited to find her. I worked with her at Sears before I became pregnant with son2… I also found out that hubby is a great uncle… I was searching for some relatives and found hubby’s niece and she had a profile picture holding a one year old… I did not request friendship with any of the relatives I found today as once again why don’t they request us… I’m very disappointed in hubby’s family at the moment as they haven’t contacted him since his cancer surgery… of course I tell hubby he could contact them too…

I had so many plans of things to do today… Christmas cards, finish decorating the tree, watch Joyce Meyer, clean out the fridge, make dinners for the week, clean the kitchen, wipe down the bathrooms… I did check shopping off my list and I’m almost done with laundry… I wanted to take pictures in the backyard and fill the birdfeeders… now I’m not off again til Saturday…

I was in a better mood at work yesterday… probably because my three days of closing were coming to an end… I now have two days left to get ready for the visit… Target’s shoe department was so nice and clean when we were there today… of course they had a much simpler way of displaying the shoes and their shoe department was one fourth the size of mine…

We are done with dinner, watched a Masters of Illusion and now son3 is back on homework… Will send him to the shower once he’s spent another hour on it… he spent ninety minutes working on it before dinner… and then if he is done with everything that is due tomorrow we will continue on tomorrow… he did do some things that we’re due later in the week too… he’s on math now, that takes the longest…

I’m off to finish the laundry…

I like how you are giving son1 groceries for Christmas; something they can always use!! I have mixed feelings about finding old friends on FB; it is nice to see how they are doing, but the few I have found or they found me, after catching up we really seem not to have too much in common.

Glad you did better at work! I know the visit will go good!

Days off always fly by, but I really think you got a lot done. My to do lists are always longer than my days are even with being retired now. There is always more to do. I guess the secret is just being thankful for what we do get done. There will always always be more to do. Hope your Tuesday is a terrific one!
