It’s Hot… 104 outside…
My day off today…
My schedule is all changed around this month to accommodate some manager changes, not me… I no longer close on Thursday… they decided I would close on Tuesday… so this week I closed Tuesday… but on Tuesday they decided I would close on Fridays… so starting next week I will close on Fridays… I don’t mind which day… I’m thinking Friday will be good as I will be home all week for homework once school starts…
Son1 has finally finished all the signing up and orientation and paper work and actually going to the city college to sign up for the firemen program… there is still a waiting list but some of it he will be able to start now although not all the program is at the college… so I think he starts with the EMT program and can sign up for ride a longs… he says he’ll be going Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday… Son2 starts college August 13th but not sure when son1 starts… they are both still waiting to hear about financial aide…
Son1 and fiancé have plans to address and put together the wedding invitations this weekend…
Son2 is spending the weekend with friends and they will be playing Dungeons and Dragons…
Son3 is having a friend or two over for a sleep over to stay up all night playing video games and watching movies this weekend…
I work this weekend…
I have been doing yard work… Mostly raking and raking and sweeping… clearing up all the petals and leaves under the rose bushes… Still a long way to go…
I have not applied for the manager job at the other store… I’m over it again at the moment… plus have to talk to my store manager before I do and he just got back from vacation and we have a visit this Friday so he is a bit busy at the moment…
I have a tummy ache and a head ache today… eating some Ritz crackers at the moment… and lots of lemonade today, wonder if that is what is upsetting my stomach…
I know why it is so hot in here even with the air conditioner set at 81… I have chicken and potatoes and carrots and celery in the oven… Phew….
The laundry is done for the day…
Hubby spent three hours today with son3 cleaning his room… didn’t clean anything out but once again we can see the floor as everything is put away…

Son2 still hasn’t cleaned his room yet… he did clean the fish tank and moved the last crab of three to a different bowl… and now he wants to get fish for his fish tank… he has been spending all his time watching the Olympics… I told him you do know the Olympics don’t end til school starts and your room needs to be done before then…
Son1 cleaned his room last week cause fiancé was coming over to hang out…
I need to clean my room…
I need to clean the whole house…
I can’t wait til son1 starts getting settled in he and fiancé's new place so I can start moving the house around…
I think it’s time for son3 to do his Thank You cards for his birthday and check on the chicken…

I remember how my boys used to hate to clean up their rooms. It was an ongoing job for sure. Hard to believe it's almost time for school to start again. It's hot here, but we are in the 90's not 100's. Still much too hot for me. I made a roast chicken yesterday so have some nice leftovers this week. Hope your week is a good one!
It's going to be an exciting an new time for all of your boys:) They have a lot to look forward to..
By the way..great job on the cat tree.. It looks like they're all enjoying it..

I bet it was the lemonade, if your stomach was feeling upset. The acid probably did not help it. I hope you are feeling better.
Sounds like the boys are keeping busy. I remember I never took much time in the cleaning dept until I moved into my own place, lol. Hope you have better luck with yours! My eldest DD is just like me (unfortunately) in that area. Sigh.
