Son3’s Birthday: Part 2

IMG_0003

Son3 has been asking for a guitar for quite a while now, so I was going to get him a guitar for his birthday…

But son1 said he would give him one of his older guitars as he had four guitars…

We got son2 an electric keyboard for his birthday this past January…

While we were singing Happy Birthday, I noticed that son3’s shirt was perfectly lined up with birthday cake… lol… chomp chomp…

Make a wish…

On Monday son2 took son3 to the movies… they each paid their own ways, son3 spending birthday money… they saw Spiderman and Batman… they loved them both…

Last night son3 ended the night staying up til midnight playing his new DS and son1 was off to another friend’s birthday party…

Today I went to work to make next weeks schedule… and hubby took son2 and son3 to Wal-Mart and GameStop to exchange the batman game that didn’t work and buy a Pokémon game with his money… he’s been playing the Pokémon game ever since… oh, now he is playing batman… hubby is finishing up a picture of pistols for son1 for a tattoo he wants to get this weekend… he and fiancé are going to the coast for the weekend… son1 met fiancé for lunch today and he has been home ever since… he doesn't know what to do with himself as all of his friends are at work… another half hour til the lasagna is done… I was going to put a candle in it so we could sing happy birthday… and then he’ll be going to the gym… I gave him a card with money in it for the wedding and some caramel candies that he opened this morning…

Going to fold the laundry…

Happy Journaling…

It was a wonderful birthday for Son3. I remember when my youngest wanted a guitar. He practiced faithfully until he got in college then it just sat there. Maybe someday he'll pick it up again. That lasagna sounds good.

too bad you guys don't live closer, hubby could give son3 a lesson or two on the guitar! Isn't it neat that son2 and son3 could go to the movies by themselves and pay their way? Great lessons of independence there!
