June Twenty Fifth

IMG_0096

Another week gone by and I have not felt organized enough to post… Or by time I get to posting on my list, another day is over…

Pictures are from our trip to Monterey/Pacific Grove… Still more to come…

I close at work today and tomorrow… Day off not til Wednesday…

The boys are enjoying their summer vacation video gaming and watching movies… Have to remind them to shower and get dressed once a week… lol…

Son1 is busy as ever; work, girlfriend, friends, Jeep, never sits still…

Hubby is still not liking his new job but has brought in one client so far… Having to do the job from home as his work has no programs on the work computers in which to do the things they hired hubby to do…

Hubby is making pancakes, then time to get ready for work…

On this day, God wants you to know

... that you do not see things as they are. You see them as you are. When you look, you see reflections of your being. When you listen, you hear echoes of yourself. If you don't like something about what you see and hear, no point in smashing the mirror, change who you are becoming.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that you are to let grace flow freely from your heart. Think back over the last few days, - how many times have you felt appreciation towards another? How many times have you thought about another: 'what a lovely smile', or 'she is so nice', or 'such a kind man', or any of a myriad of other appreciative thoughts. Did you express them? Did you come up to her and say: 'you are so nice'? And why not? Why did you stop divine grace from flowing freely from your heart? Do you want to change the world to the better? This is it, this is how you start.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that if you could see with the eyes of God, this world would be filled with goodness. Goodness is within you and every living being. Let your goodness shine.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that if you desire something, offer something. Offerings can come in many forms: a gift, a prayer, a smile, flowers, food. Offer something from your heart.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that it's never too late to get back on track. Never has anyone gone so far on the wrong path that they cannot return to the right one. Never has anyone become so wayward that they cannot benefit from the true light.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that there is no such thing as conditional love. Love is either unconditional or it's no love. You might like someone conditional on their personality or behavior or circumstances. But love accepts no boundaries. So never say 'I love you because', for love has no cause, love comes from God.

On this day, God wants you to know

... that work begins when you don't like what you are doing. Little children can do the most amazing things with such joy and fun. You were little once too, and knew how to turn everything into a game. So, turn your work into a game, and you will find joy and satisfaction in it. What are some ways you can start being playful with work?

Too bad that hubby is not liking the work. Doing things at home because they don't have the programs sounds like an unfair deal to me. Hope they get it right soon for him. Even though you are working I do hope you have a great Saturday!

pictures are pretty!! It is hard to get used to new schedules isn't it? We've been done here five months and I still am trying to get things organized, so I can see why you don't have the time to post with all the new things happening in your neck of the woods. Glad son2 and son3 are enjoying their break!! It is good that hubby brought in a client, but still doesn't sound like the best working situation. I'm sure a bit frustrating at times with it all.

hang in there!

With all you have to do, it's certainly understandable that you can't always post..
I'm sorry to hear that hubbys job isn't all he would like it to be. It would be nice if they would at least have the right equipment to do the job..
Hope your week goes well,
Sheri

Life is unfair sometimes but it all balances out in the end. It doesn't feel like it at times, I know, but it does. Hope so much things smooth out for you and hubby. I'm sure they will in time. Think of you often, always with great affection.
