Easter Eve

fetchhbt

I’ve been busy at my new job… I had Wednesday off and then this weekend… The boys have been on Spring break all week and next week too… The kittens are getting so big already…

I go to work, come home and make dinner, watch TV, go to bed and do it all again the next day… Throw in a load of laundry here and there… Seem to be getting more sleep, but so tired… maybe I’m getting too much sleep… Slowly getting into a routine at work… So much to do, the day goes so fast… May 12th all the shoe leads will come to my store for a training seminar… and then in June we will all be certified in our own stores… I will have to have my department ready both times…

Hubby has been busy with the boys at home for Spring break so not too much job applying at the moment… I did find him a few to apply at once he gets a moment… I’ve been feeling a bit apprehensive that he hasn’t found something yet… But I know he will when it is meant to be…

We are watching Bones and Angel and son2 has brought me a root beer float…

Son2 has still been having tennis on Spring break as not all the school districts are on break at the same time… still enjoying his break too by playing video games…

Son3 still all about the video games and has a diorama to build by May 20th… He is also getting wise to all this Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy thing… but I’m able to keep the boys going way into their teens… Son3 also lost a tooth recently, although I thought he was done losing all his teeth… he’s almost ten… he said hubby and I were the ones who made the baskets and that we put the money under his pillow… I continue with the illusions however, cause it’s more fun… the older boys know the truth now but also keep the illusion going… hubby and I will probably still wait for Santa and the Easter Bunny long after the boys grow up… lol…

Still waiting for son1 to move back home… his roommate is very upset with him right now and making things a bit difficult by not helping get himself set up for when son1 moves out… so afraid son1 may just have to leave and let the roommate figure it out on his own… son1 has covered his basis with the apartment complex already… just needs to sort out his storage and move out of the apartment… another week or so… he and girlfriend went to the rodeo with friends last night… and tonight are visiting with his Dad’s side of the family… we may see them for a bit tomorrow afternoon for Easter…

Today son2 and son3 were a bit grumpy with each other as one week of spring break together is enough and then being too excited for Easter coming too… Got them settled, sent hubby out to work in the yard and I got busy cleaning… as I’ve not done a bit of cleaning with the new job… I did a couple loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed, cleaned the boy’s bathroom, cleaned up after the kittens, filled the bird feeders, pruned the roses and cooked the ham for tomorrow… hubby colored the eggs with the boys… son1 stopped by waiting for girlfriend to meet up with him to go visiting with relatives… I made fried eggs and steak for dinner… I’ve finished my root beer float and we’re watching Angel… I still have all the laundry from the week to sort and put away… and get ready for the Easter Bunny…

those fried eggs and steak sound good for dinner, Linda!! I'm with you about wondering if hubby (mine) will get a job (grrrrrrrr) but like you, I'm waiting, trusting and knowing God knows best.

It is good though to have someone around the house doing the chores, isn't it? I don't think I've done much cleaning since we moved :)

as long as son1 covered his base with the apartment complex, which can mess up his credit if he didn't, I think he just needs to do what is the wisest thing for him and it seems like coming back at your place right now is the best thing indeed!

I hope you and yours have a very nice Easter!!
