August Eighth

Rose2

Today was a quiet non eventful day…

Worked 6-2:30… Set the ad, inputted my vacation requests for the rest of the year into our new system, cleaned up the stockroom to make room for more shoes and went to lunch… After lunch I opened boxes and more boxes…

Once home, got the boys on their chores… son2 finished taking down the pool today… son3 read another chapter in his book… and son1 and son2 were playing video games… son1 is just hanging out today resting from all his working and playing…

I ate my usual lunch of chimichanga, yogurt and a cola… two tomato sandwiches when I got home… and a chili dog with peas and carrots for dinner… hubby gets home late on Sunday so everyone is on their own for dinner…

I had plans of going through all the school supplies but still haven’t got to that… Definitely this week though… Instead I watched After.Life with Liam Neeson, Christina Ricci and Justin Long… It was OK, kinda sad and confusing… I think I understand the ending… Then I watched Avatar with son3 while playing on Facebook til Funniest Videos came on… Now I’m watching some old movie with hubby called Empire of the Ants with Joan Collins… Boys are watching Simpsons and Family Guy… they need to head for the showers and bed… Only two days til school starts…

We’ve started planning for Halloween… Hubby found a video on YouTube on how to make candles out of pvc pipes… Son2 is thinking of being a scarecrow for the yard to scare the trick or treaters… Hubby is making stands out of pvc pipe for the dummies this year… Need to start stocking up on candy… Still have 100s of pencils to give out too from last year… Now hopefully hubby is able to get Halloween off… It’s on a Sunday this year… I have the week off before but will have to work on Halloween… Hopefully I can get off early… Or how will we set up for the trick or treaters if either of us is home…

Time to get the jammies and head for bed… Back to work tomorrow…

Happy Journaling…

It sounds like you are ready for fall. I'm always sad to see summer fade away and with it lazy days too. I hope your Monday is a great one for you!

You always seem so organized:)
Wow, I can't believe that the boys are going back to school already. I know my granddaughter starts earlier than most, but she doesn't start this early.
Sounds like Halloween is going to be a blast..
