Saturday Rambles...

I am getting nothing done... Spending to much time sitting on this computer when there are things to be done... Work was good again today... Was not very busy, although the other associates kept saying it was... But I didn't think it was even regular Saturday busy, especially since I could get down aisles with my handcart and get all the men's stocking done... Tomorrow there is not much of an ad to set so I'm gonna get the boxes all open and cleared that came in on Friday... Meanwhile hubby got the tree almost finished decorating this morning and moved all of son3's around that were all in the front of the tree at ground level, lol... And the house roof lights will now work as hubby has plugged them into a surge protector so we won't keep popping the fuses... Son3 was supposed to go to a bday party today but with all the school hassles this week that were his fault of his stubbornness, he was grounded from computer games and going to the party... Right now he is singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town and putting more decorations on the tree... Son1 called and has whisked son2 away for some brother bonding... Hubby should be home any second... I'm doing laundry and should be cleaning up the kitchen... I'm trying to decide whether to make pumpkin bread, gingerbread cake or cookies tomorrow after work, or maybe all three... And some chicken with potatoes and carrots... Although I should have done some today, but I worked all day and I am tired... but then I work tomorrow too... Monday I am off, yay, and hubby too... And hopefully we can start wrapping and sorting things for Christmas...
Oh before I forget again... Son2 was watching Funniest Home Videos on Tuesday and he had to come and tell me what Tom Bergeron had said, that, "Christmas used to be everyone getting together and talking, now they just log onto the Internet and read each other's blogs"... Lol....
Happy Journaling...

I've heard of families who communicate through the internet. We might have three computers here (yes, we each have a computer) but, we don't e-mail each other or any of that stuff. Sonny uses his for work and reading the news, I use mine for work and well, blogging :-) and my daughter bought hers for music, a little internet use.

Glad the day at work went well and it sounds like what ever you bake it will be something yummy.

I guess that is about right..."sitting around reading one another's blogs" OR facebook. lol.
Hope you get your cooking done. It's hard isn't it to work, take care of family and try to get Christmas pulled together, as well as the holiday baking. lol. We just need the clock to slow down a bit.
Have a good Sunday. I'll be jealous of you Monday when I go back to work.

I'm so glad I have this computer to take a break now and then. I work a little and rest a little. That is just the way I am now. I cannot go 24/7 like I used to so I do take time out and read and write and I love it. I won't say it is a waste of time for me as it does give me something to do. Hope your Sunday is a great one and I know you are looking forward to Monday, but for me it will be back to work as usual. 'On Ya'-ma

Sounds like another busy day at your house. I'm thankful for the Internet so I can keep in touch with family out of town, but I cna't see emailing each other in the same house. Although that might be fun once in awhile. Linda in below freezing Washington state

LOL what Tom Bergeron said; that's about the truth these days :)

2 days in a row for work being good! I hope today made it 3/3 and then tomorrow is a day off; doesn't get too much better than that (if only it was warm, its freezing down here)

enjoy!

Yes it sure is an internet world these days isn't it!? I have not started any Christmas baking at all and am way behind this year on all my usual festivities. It is coming together but rather slowly and I am wondering how I will ever catch up to where I usually am LOL. Isn't it great you have Monday off?! Yay!!
Hugs,
Lisa
