September Twenty Second…

I was off again today… I made sure son2 got up and out the door but then I went back to bed til it was time to get son3 up… Son3 is having his school carnival this week so it has been theme week… I didn’t get the newsletter til Tuesday so we missed Monday Jersey Day… Tuesday was Crazy Sock Day and today was Crazy Hair/Hat Day… Tomorrow is Mismatch Day, hubby will dress him so not a problem, just kidding… and Friday is Spirit Day and the carnival… son3 put gel in his hair for crazy hair day… at first he wanted it sticking up but then he wanted it all combed down flat… I forgot to get a picture…

Due to hubby not having a job at the moment it is a perfect excuse to not have to go to the carnival this year… We feel bad for son3 but then son3 has been going to the carnival since he was born, son2 went to the same school… and the carnival is the same every year… they were going to cancel this year due to very low involvement but for some reason they did not… Meanwhile two of son3’s friends who are brothers want him to spend the night this weekend so if that works out then he will be distracted from the carnival…

Hubby spent a bit of time on the computer job hunting and a bit of time working in the yard and a bit of time working on the computer on his artwork…

I checked email, put a roast in the crock pot, put up Fall decorations, started the dishwasher, cleaned the glass on the entertainment center, shredded papers, vacuumed, and sorted through all the paper piles on my work table… Watched Emergency and hubby watched an episode of Babylon 5… It was early day so walked to pick up son3, put potatoes and lima beans on to cook for dinner, did homework with son3, typed up my entry for The Motivation Station for tomorrow, ate dinner, hubby and the boys were watching F Troop and I washed all the pots and pans…

Now son2 is on the computer, son3 has showered and I am going to give him a practice test for his spelling words, hubby is on the computer working on his artwork… son1 came straight home from work so he and son2 could go for their walk… then he was off to his part time job to turn in more paper work and now he is at girlfriend’s…

Now I am testing son3 and waiting for Criminal Minds to come on…

I forgot to mention so I came back and added this paragraph to mention about unemployment... Nothing came today so I went to the website, although I checked before and didn't find anything that there had to be a way to check your account/status... the first time I could only find sign in stuff for job hunting... this time however I found a phone number you could call to create a pin number to call in and check the status on your checks... so called and got that set up and it said that it takes ten days from talking to the representative to receive your check... so hubby's phone interview was on the 13th so ten working days is this Friday or next Monday... so at least now we have a guide and something to call to track status...

Today I ate: vitamins, water… breakfast~apple and cinnamon oatmeal… lunch~bowl of beans, cornbread, cola… chocolate covered raisins… dinner~pork roast, potatoes, lima beans, biscuits, water…

September Twenty First

Glee starts in just a few moments!!

This morning got off to a shaky start… Son2 left without any lunch money… said he would be fine… he did have pizza that his friends shared with him… Son1 was still having trouble with the jeep starting and then forgot his paper work to do his drug test for part time job, so had to come back to get it and then remembered he needed to get gas, so think he was late for work today…

Hubby and I walked son3 to school… then came home and I filled out three job alerts applications we found online while hubby did the dishes… and I checked my email… then I watched Emergency while I cleaned out drawers for The Motivation Station Challenge… and then I watched True Blood while still cleaning out drawers… Washed four loads of laundry that still need folding while I’m watching Glee… Hubby made lunch and I was back on the laptop reading blogs… and then it was time to walk and pick up son3 and do homework… no unemployment again today but I have a feeling it will come this week… We had leftover chicken noodle soup and watched Castle since son2 and I fell asleep half way through it last night…

Son1 found a pedometer today so he and son2 went on their walk… they are working up to running so they can be firemen…

I had plans of getting lots more done today, like putting up fall decorations, cleaning the kitchen and washing the floor, sweeping the garage, dusting, filling the birdfeeders and then some… maybe tomorrow…

Hubby finished fixing a new gate for the side fence to the back yard today…

Today I ate too much: vitamins, green tea tablet ( I had stopped taking them since I was taking cold medicine, but I am all better now), water… breakfast~apple and cinnamon oatmeal… tortilla chips… cola… lunch~PBJ, water… tortilla chips… lemonade… dinner~chicken noodle soup, tortilla chips, water…

September Twentieth…

Last night I didn’t quite get to watch True Blood til way later in the night as son3 was watching TV with me so we were watching Funniest Videos and Family Guy…

Meanwhile son1 and girlfriend were online and son1 filled out an application for college to become a fireman… I’m thinking the girlfriend is influencing son1 to better himself… Which is good but what are her reasons… And wasn’t son2 planning on becoming a paramedic… son1 says he has wanted to be a fireman for years now… I’m not quite remembering  that… And there was talk of quitting his full time job to go to school… I hope not… I can’t keep up with his plans… He needs to pick one and stick with it… but he wants everything to just take a minute and not years….

This morning he was back on getting the part time job…

I was off to work early again in the dark… Had a little ad to set, scan athletic displays, request missing signs, print signs and put them up, go to lunch, stock men’s shoes and open boxes…

I also talked to HR about my big paycheck… It’s mine to keep… I had the choice to pay back my vacation… but I decided to instead not take my next three vacation days and save them for the week I am taking off at the end of October to that I will at least get paid enough to cover medical… So technically I already got paid my vacation in advance… and I’ll still take those three days off just not paid til later on my vacation…

Home in time to walk and pick up son3… checked email, homework with son3, made a big pot of chicken soup, ate dinner, watched Hogan’s Heroes and here I am…

Son1 took son2 mudding, washed the jeep, stopped at Walmart looking for a pedometer but didn’t find one he liked, washed the jeep again at home, having trouble with the jeep stalling out so checked on that, they ate dinner and now they are going for a walk… He also stopped by his old part time job site that he finally got the paper work for and is now in the hiring process… since he’s been gone from them for more than a year, he has to go through all the drug testing and background testing again…

Son3 is getting in the shower, the sink is still full of dishes and the new shows come on in twenty minutes… Tonight is How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, Two and A Half Men, Castle and Hawaii 50… I am off tomorrow though so can get some chores done around the house, hopefully… No unemployment today but like I told hubby, if it was denied I’m sure we would have got a response right away… Now he is just in the system and he will probably get a check this week, which is two weeks after the first statement he got without a check attached, just bubble in the answers to did you look for a job…

Today I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… potato chips… heading into my eating/salty craving week… dinner~chicken noodle soup, tortilla chips, water… maybe a bit of ice cream with caramel sauce in a bit….

And did you know that when you lose weight, you also lose weight in your feet… I usually wear a 10 1/2 wide but it is hard to find that size, so I usually get 11 which is too long or buy men’s shoes in an 8 1/2 or 9… but today out of curiosity I tried on a 10 in the stockroom and it was still too snug but I got it on, which means I might can fit in a 10 wide again…

September Nineteenth

Last night I had a bit of a nap after my ice cream while the boys finished Lord of the Rings… Then I got up, folded the laundry and watched an episode of True Blood Season Two…

This morning I was up bright and early at 4:30am… although it is dark now still before 6am… I got lots done at work today… I got 32 hrs this week while my co parts only got 9 hrs each… Guess supervisor wants me to redo the whole stockroom, open new receipts and set all the ads… Hubby said I would be wearing an S to work this week… Today I changed out all the hanging signs, put up all the signs for today’s ad, scanned for price integrity, scanned the men’s displays, took an online training quiz, cleared the ad exceptions, went to lunch, opened boxes and located shoes in the stockroom…

Checked on my punch sheets for the last two weeks and found instead of giving me 8hrs of vacation that I had requested it gave me 48 hrs of vacation for both weeks… Fortunately HR can fix the ones I didn’t get paid for yet… Still don’t know what will happen with the paycheck I already got… Will find out in the morning when I go to HR…

Came home… hubby and I looked a bit online for jobs… I checked email and facebook… Son1 and girlfriend came over… I made hotdogs for dinner… Nice afternoon of laughing with son1 and girlfriend… son2 and son3 were playing video games… Now the sink is full of dishes… hubby and son2 are watching Hogan’s Heroes… son3 is squeezing every minute he can on his games before shower and reading… son1 and girlfriend are watching I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry… Everyone is waiting for ice cream with bananas and toppings… I ended up having caramel instead of chocolate topping last night… forgot we had choices…

Son1 is still waiting to hear about his part time job he is getting… think the manager has been on vacation… he originally wanted it to pay off his cards… but now he is saying he wants a car but still keep the jeep… the jeep is more a toy than a drive to work car and go out on dates… plus he is having transmission problems… and he is worried about when it starts raining… he also said now that friend S asked him to get an apartment together… so then the part time job would pay for rent… I don’t think he will be getting an apartment though… although hubby did say son1 mentioned if he got an apartment if he could have our blue couch… hmmmm… he has been taking the jeep mudding all weekend… mudding is when you find a puddle in a field or vacant lot… I don’t know where the puddle came from as we don’t have rain… but he found one… as he and friend S went… and then girlfriend went… and then today son2 went… and the jeep is all muddy and he didn’t wash it and is taking it to work like that tomorrow… guess to show off that he went mudding…

It is getting dark in here already at 7pm… At least it is only in the 80’s this week… supposed to be cloudy tomorrow but no rain… we never get rain…

The sink is full of dishes but I think I will go watch some more True Blood while waiting for ice cream…

September Eighteenth…

Today was a lazy Saturday… I’m feeling a bit better, no sore throat and only a bit of a stuffy nose… Still settled in my chest though so waiting for that to clear… And a bit of a cough…

Today hubby made breakfast… son1 was here for breakfast.. said he was going to have a quiet day at home… but of course that never happens… his friend S called and they were off to help friend S clothes shop… and they went to lunch… son2 and son1 had planned to go to Blockbuster to get an XBox game to play all day… but then girlfriend came over and they were off to Blockbuster to get a movie and eat dinner here… They are watching When in Rome… son1 hates romantic comedies but is very good at doing things for girlfriend he doesn’t like doing…

Hubby cleaned up the kitchen a bit, fixed the light in the oven and worked on the side fence… I also worked in the kitchen and yet there is all the dinner dishes waiting in there now… I mailed the PGE bill and got three more bills ready to go on Monday… I did a couple of loads of laundry and finally finished moving all the books around with the new bookcase… I checked all my email and played on facebook awhile… I want to have a day to just read blogs… Soon…

Nothing in the mail from unemployment yet… But I did update the checkbook and look up my paycheck which was Oh So Wrong… I worked thirty hours with the holiday and took a vacation day… My paycheck showed me getting 40 hours of vacation, 21 hours worked as overtime, holiday pay and double time for working the holiday which we only get time and a half… so it was about $4oo too much… Wonder how HR will sort that out… I imagine I won’t be getting paid for a couple of weeks since the money was already deposited in my bank account…

The day has gone so fast… which is a good thing… our past few Saturdays were very long… we must have felt a bit back to normal today… Although it is 7pm already… Dinner is done and we are watching Lord of the Rings, son2’s choice… Now son3 is saying it is time for ice cream… I think I will have mine with a banana and a bit of chocolate syrup…

Today I ate: breakfast~vitamins, orange juice, scrambled eggs, hash brown, English muffin with jelly… tortilla chips with salsa… dinner~chicken, scalloped potatoes, peas, carrots, beans, croissant, water…

September Seventeenth

Last night I definitely had a fever… and was asleep by 7:30pm… I was up at 4:30 this morning feeling a bit better… I got the signs ready… had a bit of help putting them up… changed out some sale tables… found out from the supervisor that we have two weeks to make sure the floor and stockroom are set correctly for our certification… We have a lot to do to get ready… Went to lunch… and opened boxes til it was time to go home…

Still no word from unemployment… but I think that is a good thing and we will probably just get a first check… hubby says that the person on the phone said they would notify him within 48 hours but it’s way past that… so maybe she meant something else… or we’ll get something in the mail tomorrow… It’s interesting that right before this happened we were cleaning out some papers and found hubby’s unemployment papers from last time… and they still do things exactly the same… and he never got a letter or call from the last time when he did a phone interview… he did however have another phone interview at the end of his unemployment but he had gotten a full time job so he did get a letter stating he was denied unemployment because he had a full time job plus his benefits had run out for unemployment…

So once home I changed so we could pick up son3 from school and go grocery shopping… Just got some basics to go with what we have… went to Food Maxx that we used to shop at way back before they put in the big new WinCo… Food Maxx is exactly the same but seemed way small and hardly anyone was there for a Friday afternoon…

Son1 is off with girlfriend… Son2 has just got home from hanging with his friends… Son3 has been watching Transformer with hubby and me… I went through all my email… getting tons of junk email from all the job websites that I have been unsubscribing from… and we have been getting tons more hang ups on the house phone than usual… From go back to school to insurance to shopping… Now the boys have showered and we are getting ready to have ice cream and finish the movie…

I’m still tired and feeling yucky so looking forward to sleeping in a bit tomorrow… It’s not good for me to be sick though cause than poor Holly got left out two nights in a row… It’s not cooling off in here as well tonight… It’s only 81 outside but 85 in the house… I have all the fans going as usual… I have just finished my ice cream cone… It was so good… the store had chocolate and vanilla… like Neapolitan but without the strawberry… tasted just like the ice cream at the Zoo…

Today I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… two crackers with peanut butter before going to the grocery store… dinner~Top Ramen soup, tortilla chips, water… ice cream cone…

September Sixteenth

I was up at 4:30am… I’m scheduled early this week, which means then I get off early… but boy I am tired… Made sure son1 and son2 were up and I was out the door before  them… I helped with the weekly count, changed out sale tables, put up some signs, took down some signs, got all the signs ready for tomorrows ad, went to lunch, cleaned the stockroom, put away and located shoes in the stockroom, opened boxes…

Once home, changed my clothes, got some water, walked with hubby to pick up son3, had a talk with son3 about meeting us after school and not hanging with his friends, came home, started homework with son3, hubby and me and son2 had a talk about his schedule tomorrow at school-he’s in the 350 club so they are going to a swim party after lunch and then he wants to hang with his friends after school but as usual there is no exact plan and which friends house, so that talk went on a while, still doing homework with son3, checking my email, helping hubby with a question on the main computer with job hunting, son1 came home and he was hungry, I was hungry, started pulling out leftovers, I’m now more tired, have a fever, but getting whiney, no yelling… Finally sit down for dinner and watch an episode of Hogan’s Heroes…

Now son1 is in the shower and son3 needs to study his spelling words, test tomorrow… Son2 is doing some laundry… Hubby is patrolling the yard… Now son1 wants to take son2 to Blockbuster to get a new game…Son3 is getting in the shower now… 

We watched the last half hour of America’s Got Talent last night… I felt bad for Captain Poppycock and son2 was mad cause Fighting Gravity didn’t win… And I wasn’t surprised that Michael Grimm won, I had a feeling… and hubby made a good point that Jackie was only ten and not really Vegas entertainment… Besides I’m sure they will all be getting a lot of phone calls for offers…

We still didn’t hear from unemployment today…..

Now I’m ready for bed at only 7pm… Back to work early again tomorrow… But I have a cold and a fever so I need my rest…

September Fifteenth

Monday was an up and at work early again day… I set the ad, scanned for missing displays, stocked athletics, went to lunch, opened boxes and scanned shoes into the stockroom…

Hubby had his unemployment phone interview on Monday… They said they had to call the former employer and then we would hear in 48 hours if unemployment was approved… Today was 48 hours so maybe we will hear something tomorrow…

Monday son1 brought us humongous burritos from an actual Mexican restaurant for dinner… They were so good and we all ate the whole things except son3 who had chicken noodle soup… so son1 had a second burrito on Tuesday… We watched Role Models again… I forgot son1 had that movie and hubby really likes it and it is so funny… My favorite line is: Since you are in my personal space, can you sign my time sheet….

Monday I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… dinner~humongous burrito, water… mini chocolate chips, lemonade, I made smores for the boys so I had a marshmallow…

Tuesday I had a vacation day… But I was still up early getting son1 and son2 out the door… then hubby was up and we had breakfast and got son3 out the door… I am liking all this extra walking of taking son3 to school and picking him up… He however is not… especially when we get all the way to the school and he is not where we are supposed to meet so we get him and continue walking the long way home… Hubby was online job searching and I was online job searching in between cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming and general cleaning of the house… Son1 and girlfriend went to the last concert in the park of the season… and we watched Batman: Under the Red Hood… It was the last of the America’s Got Talent so hubby and I watched… Tonight is the announcement of the winner but they are dragging it out for two hours so I will just wait and check online to see the winner… It’s tough though to say who it might be… Probably Jackie the ten year old opera singer… although son2 wants it to be Fighting Gravity…

Tuesday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water… breakfast~oatmeal… lunch~yogurt, corn dog, cola… dinner~two bowls of beans and rice, corn bread, water…

Today was my day off… Got all the boys out the door and walk son3 to school… More online job hunting and house cleaning and walking to pick up son3… homework with son3… still have to finish his nightly reading… he got a 100% on his reading test today… We watched some of season one of Hogan’s Heroes earlier… And I still need to finish Date Night that I started earlier today… Son1 and girlfriend are off to the mall shoe shopping and out to dinner… Hubby is cutting son2’s hair… It’s just been getting to 90 all this week… so just leaving the windows open and fans going is keeping it at 84 or so in the house… I have a sore throat and stuffy nose this week so I’m hoping to be in bed early watching Date Night and resting for work tomorrow…

Wednesday I ate: vitamins, water… breakfast~apples and cinnamon oatmeal… cola… lunch~two corndogs… lemonade… dinner~lasagna, garlic bread, peas, carrots, lemonade… maybe I’ll have some hot chocolate later to sooth my sore throat…

September Twelfth…

Here it is Sunday night already at 8:30pm and I am still trying to have quiet to catch up on an entry since Friday…

Friday was off to work to set the ad… more taking down than going up… went to lunch… open boxes… talk with supervisor too much…

Came home.. tried to relax by playing facebook games but they just keep freezing up the computer, so have stopped playing them again… son1 and girlfriend went out to dinner and watched Killers at her house… and we watched Killers with Ashton Kutcher at our house, lol… and then probably watched an episode of Emergency…

Friday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… BBQ chips… dinner~baked potato, chili, veggies, cheese, lemonade… two smores…

Saturday hubby was up early, I slept a bit longer… Emotions were a bit high on Saturday again, or maybe it was just me… Hubby made breakfast after I told him it was OK… Then we had showers and were getting dressed for the day when I lost my mind… Or maybe I just wanted to fight with someone and picked hubby forgetting he won’t fight with me… The more I yell, the quieter he gets… I was feeling discouraged as I am trying to have faith and keep a good frame of mind and go with a plan… and hubby wants to pick the worst scenario and go there and put him self down when it comes to finding a job and deciding he is not qualified for the job when that is up to the people doing the hiring… Anyway we don’t hold grudges and aren’t mad at each other just the situation and the way we each handle it is so different…

And hubby and I aren’t strangers to losing jobs… Thirteen years ago, we decided to move here from the Bay area as our apartment rent was going up to a higher price then our house payment is now… So I sent tons of resumes out to random companies in the area til one called and hired hubby… He moved here a month before us, staying with family while I packed up the apartment with son1 and son2… We barely pulled up with the moving truck when Sears called and wanted me to come in and interview for a position here… Unfortunately the company that hired hubby let him go a few weeks later as the owners didn’t know what each other was doing and who hired hubby and changed the positions and told hubby he wasn’t qualified for the changes… But I figured hey it got us to Fresno… So hubby was on unemployment and just as it ran out got hired at his current job that he was just let go from… Six years ago my supervisor job was eliminated and there were no supervisor positions in the store at the time, nor full time… so as I wanted to leave for the day and plan my next move, they wouldn’t let me leave as they were creating a position for  me in shoes still at full time but with a major pay cut, but hey I still kept my full time with medical and all my vacation benefits…

But yet that was part of my grumpiness too with hubby’s job loss… and that my ex is now on disability for the next six weeks with two hernia surgeries coming up this week… my ex has had quite a few jobs and used unemployment quite a few times and been on disability just as much… I have worked for 30 years, only being off for three times: son1, son2 and son3… My job has seen me through college, bankruptcy, two marriages, three boys, buying a house and everything in between… I did quit once for my first marriage and son1 being born, but that only lasted five months and they hired me back on the spot and since I was gone less than a year, it was as if I was never gone, as I kept my anniversary date…

So after my outburst with hubby I went out and washed both cars, hosed off the driveway, hosed off the front porch, watered the plants, threw away the front door mat, changed out the decorations to some fall ones… when I finally went back inside, they boys, even son1,  had done all their chores, cleaned their rooms, did their homework… I was like, how long was I outside… guess they knew Mom was in a mood and best to be on my good side…

Hubby was on the phone with internet people again as the DSL was down, so he got that back up and running and was doing more job search and filling out applications… partly it’s frustrating as there are so many job sites that want you to sign up, that we’re signing up with too many… and then a lot promise things but after you fill out, get to the part where they want money… ummm NO… and then we are getting offers for jobs in our email but they are all automated replies for insurance sales, or work from home, or start your own business opportunities… plus going to the different job sites hubby has applied to a couple of jobs twice since they advertise at the different sites but the sites each look different so you don’t always see the company name til the end of the application…

Son2 went with son1 to the grocery store and Walmart and son1 got lunch stuff for two weeks and dog food and tooth paste and such that he needed… then son1 was off to see girlfriend as she has a cold and has not been feeling well. so he took her something to eat and our Netflix move Date Night with Steve Carell… we haven’t seen it yet… We watched Wild Wild West with Will Smith, then an episode of Emergency then I fell asleep at 9pm, I was Tired… Hubby and son3 watched Jaws 3, I woke up for the ending so we could go to bed…

Saturday I ate: breakfast~scrambled eggs, three toast w/jelly, chocolate milk… popcorn, water… dinner~two chili dogs, green beans, mixed veggies, broccoli, cauliflower, cola…

Today I was off to work… no ad to set, so got to stock men’s dress and athletic shoes all morning… went to lunch… opened boxes…

Came home, son1 was off with girlfriend at the mall… checked email, fixed dinner, got the boys in the shower early… watched Wimpy Kid… read with son3 for his AR reading for school… finally snuck off to my room to work on this entry for the last hour… hubby has his unemployment phone interview in the morning… It’s almost 9:30 and the boys need to have lights out for bed for school tomorrow… and I have to get up extra early this week as I go into work even earlier… If we can go to sleep as it was hot yesterday and today, about 94 and we have not turned on the air conditioner… we have all the fans going and the windows open though… It’s still 86 right now… but each day this week is supposed to be cooler…

Sunday I ate: vitamins, green tea tablet, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… boys were eating Lays potato chips, I had my hand in the bag… water… dinner~beans and rice, it was so good so I had two bowls, water…

September Ninth

Today was a pretty good day but now I am grumpy… Everything and nothing, so it will probably pass…

We had a big visit at work on my two days off… The department looked great, why can’t we do that all the time and not just for visit… of course a lot of stuff was hidden and I will find it as I open boxes… I located a bunch of shoes into the stockroom today… went to lunch… sorted the signs for tomorrow’s ad… located more shoes into the stockroom… covered the sales floor while the other associate went to lunch… located more shoes into the stockroom… I got over 18,000 steps on the pedometer at work today…

Came home and became grumpy… think I am just tired… trying not to be grumpy with hubby…. but…… once home did homework with son3… math page and spelling words… and write a paragraph… and then I made dinner too… hmmm didn’t I just work all day… and hubby was on the computer playing… checked email for job alerts… since grumpy with hubby didn’t talk to him about what job searching he did today… I noticed he did some more yard work… and he went to Target to pick up a few essential items we needed like toilet paper but he bought the wrong kind… he didn’t open the windows back up when he got home or turn on the fans, so when I got home I was fixing them since it was 76 degrees outside and 78 in the house… he did do the dishes after dinner while I was studying spelling words with son3… I was trying to play a few games at facebook but my laptop kept freezing up…

Son1 is now home after 8pm and filling out an application for his old job at Cycle Gear to have a part time job with his full time job…

I’m ready for bed… early to work tomorrow to set the ad…

Son3 is looking at his Lego catalog and dreaming about everything he wants to buy when hubby finds a job… and keeps saying, oh yeah no talking about shopping… ya think…

Hubby is watching Bones repeat on TV… I should watch it with him… I want chocolate… I had an It’s It ice cream last night after going to bed, hubby brought it for me, it was the last one in the fridge…

Today I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… dinner~hot dog, chicken strip, corn on the cob, baked beans, potato salad… and chocolate if I find some…

September Eighth…

Today was a better day… Had more job alerts in the email and even found more job search engines to sign up at… Hubby applied at another job and we even saw his position that he got let go from advertised at the new site we found… hubby had mixed feelings about that…

Son1 and son2 got to work and school this morning and hubby and I slept in again til after seven when we had to get son3 up for school… walked son3 to school, had breakfast, hubbies job searching stuff online, checked email, washed son1 and son2’s bedding, watched Emergency, tidied up my room a bit, watered the houseplants, walked to pick up son3, it was early day, did homework, he had spelling, two math pages, and write a rough draft for his paragraph, read a bit of blogs and make dinner, mostly leftovers…

Now it is freezing in here… I have shorts on, a long sleeve shirt and socks… have all the windows open and turned off some of the fans… It is only 75 right now at 7pm… Isn’t it great!!

Saw son3’s kindergarten teacher today while we were picking up son3 and she pointed out that I had lost weight and looked good… she asked how I did it and I said, just don’t eat, lol… I’ve been eating too much this week, need to reel me in again… get in the right frame of mind to only eat when hungry and stop when full…

Today the long sleeve shirt I’m wearing I bought way cheap on clearance a couple of years ago but never wore it cause it was too small but it was too cute to pass up… anyway it now fits with extra room… I was talking to hubby today and noticed his eyes kept wandering… I was like what are you looking at, you aren’t listening to me… he said I really like that shirt and you look so good….

Son1 was here after work, then had to go bring a Jeep part to a friend, then went to help a friend moving load the truck real quick, just ten minutes, he just got back an hour and a half later… now he’s hungry and needs a shower wants to play his XBox game that he was playing before everyone interrupted him…

Hubby and I got sucked into America’s Got Talent again last night, so we will be watching the results tonight as they narrow down to the last four…

Today I ate: breakfast~frosted flakes, water, vitamins, green tea tablet… mini chocolate chips… bbq chips… lunch~yogurt, cola… golden fishies… dinner~turkey burger w/bun, rice, baked beans, mashed potato, potato salad, green beans, corn on the cob, water…

September Seventh

Today was a blah day… son1 was off to work on his own… I got son2 off to school and went back to bed til 7am when I had to get son3 up and off to school… hubby and I walked him to school and took the long way back… hubby went online to check all his job websites but not much popping up today, maybe cause of the holiday weekend… I checked all my email… paid two bills… scheduled birthday cards on facebook… got the birthday cards going out in the mail done for the month… played a bit on facebook… loaded the dishwasher, but haven’t run it yet… did three loads of laundry but haven’t put it away yet… hubby and I walked and picked up son3… homework with son3 was two math pages and spelling… pulled out the leftovers for dinner… and here it is 8pm already… son1, son2 and girlfriend are watching Wipeout… son3 is hurrying in the shower so he can watch too…

I did not have a good eating day… I am coming down the other side of Chuck… and since it was a good month going in, it is not so good coming out… sinking into a black hole… hey but I just realized my headache is finally gone… I thought it was a hormonal headache and not a hubby lost his job headache… I do hate though that one minute I’m feeling good and then I remember hubby doesn’t have a job and we are still waiting on unemployment…

Today I ate: breakfast~frosted flakes, vitamins, water… shredded wheat… lunch~slice of vegetable pizza, cola… spoonful of chocolate frosting… cactus cooler… popcorn… dinner~2 hotdogs, rice, baked beans, veggies, corn on the cob, mashed potato, potato salad, water… I had a bit of everything for dinner… and now I am fuller than I have been in a while and I don’t like it… but bad days are bound to happen…

It is way windy outside… shouldn’t have to turn the air conditioner on again til hopefully Saturday…

So much I wanted to do today… off again tomorrow… maybe I’ll be inspired…

September Sixth~Labor Day…

I was up early and off to work this morning… time and a half plus holiday pay… and I had lots to do at work so the day went fast… I scanned the men and athletic shoes for missing displays… helped clean a bit from all the shoppers from yesterday… cleaned up the women athletic shoe wall as the shoes and the shelves were on the floor… opened boxes… went to lunch… opened boxes… and located athletic shoes into the stockroom…

Came home… checked email… cooked hotdogs, turkey burgers, corn on the cob, baked beans, curly fries and potato salad…

Hubby did lots of honey dos around the house and got son2 on his chores and homework… son1 was home today, put his top back on his jeep since the temps are cooling down and rented a skateboard game that son2 and son3 watched him play…

Last night son1 and girlfriend went out with their friends and we got to see girlfriend’s new ring… tomorrow they will take it in to get sized again… they put it in to be sized when she first got it but after picking it up, doesn’t seem like they sized it all… It was pretty, nice and small, just enough and she likes it… she’s not in any hurry to rush the relationship along any time soon…

I finally got to watch the pilot movie for Emergency last night on my season one DVD set and I ate some chocolate covered Rasinettes… hubby and son2 watched it with me…

Now we are watching National Treasure with Nicholas Cage and I finally had a bit of time to read a couple of blogs…

Now I’m off for the next two days, lots to do and more job hunting with hubby…

Today I ate: vitamins, greet tea tablet, water… lunch~chimichanga by El Monterey in the blue bag for Sheri who was asking, yogurt, cola… hand went in the BBQ chip bag again… dinner~hot dog, potato salad, baked beans, curly fries, 2 corn on the cob…

September Fifth…

Saturday we decided to have a relaxing day with a break from job looking and emotional roller coaster riding… Of course I can’t relax and got a headache…

Hubby made pancakes for breakfast… son1 went off with friend S to get coffee and doughnuts… son1 wanted to go 4 wheeling but no one wanted to go with him so friend was soothing him with doughnuts…

son2 did homework and went with son1 later in the morning to find a shift knob for son1’s jeep that broke off when he was installing new clutch… they didn’t find anything son1 liked… stopped at friend S’s house and then dropped son2 off at home and they went to the junk yard to see if there were any there… back home son1 took son2 to storage to get his guitar and found his work shirt that he had been missing for weeks… must have gone to storage the last time he wore it… later in the evening son1 went back to friend S’s house with girlfriend… ended up getting sick to his stomach and spending the night… think he didn’t drink enough water out and about in the hot day…

son3 of course played Roller Coaster Tycoon all day taking a break to watch Roughnecks…

Hubby trimmed some trees in the yard, played on his computer doing some art work, got gas in the car and sent off a resume online…

I worked on my Motivation Station entry for Thursday, made Jell-O, corn on the cob and potato salad for Monday, laundry, dishes, updated the checkbook, and spent a little time at Career Builder looking at available jobs…

We had leftovers for dinner and watched the rest of our Wild Wild West DVD… We were all very tired, well except for son3 who’s never tired, and we went to bed early and hubby and I watched Bones… we are still turning off the air conditioner at night and keeping it at 82 during the afternoon… The PG&E bill came yesterday, may have contributed to my headache as it was $463… interesting though that the bill runs through 8/26 and we cut way back on the AC on 8/27 so next months bill should be way lower… although this new bill was more than last month and we have since replaced the filter, replaced the clothes dryer  and dish washer with better energy efficiency so must have been hotter in August than July…

However we didn’t get very good rest as Danny was barking at every noise since the windows are open and the fans are going… so it was later this morning that my headache finally went away…

Saturday I ate: breakfast~vitamins, green tea tablet, one pancake with syrup and blueberry jelly, french vanilla hot chocolate with a marshmallow… lunch~one slice vegetable pizza, water… dinner~macaroni and cheese, ravioli, water… popsicle…

Today I was up early and off to work… changed out a few signs, changed out a sale table, stocked men’s shoes, cleaned up our signing that the painters took down, sorted boxes, went to lunch, opened boxes, off at 3pm…

son1 was home and feeling better having had some toast, two corndogs and lots of liquids… he and son2 watched Balls of Fury… son3 still on Roller Coaster Tycoon… son2 mowed the lawn and did some chores… he still has homework to finish and son3 needs to get in the habit of reading some books not just video games… hubby worked in the yard all day today…

Since home, I have showered, put son2’s laundry in the dryer, had to take mine out, checked email, saved hubby a job to his job file at Career Builder from his alerts, made dinner and wrote this entry… Hubby has picked a movie to watch… we voted for the new Star Trek… dinner is now ready, just some chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies and left over pizza…

Today I ate: vitamins, water… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… hubby opened the BBQ chips when I got home so had my hand in the bag a few times… dinner~chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, water…

September Third

What a long, fast day! Got to work early… Big Labor Day weekend ad to set today… Had help… I put up all the sale and hanging signing… Changed out the sale tables… Printed missing signs… went to lunch… spent two hours clearing all the 2500 sign exceptions in the computer because I did not have a hand held to scan the signs… put up the signs I printed… and had one hour left to open boxes…

Came home… checked the mail… hubby has a phone interview with unemployment on the 13th… changed my shirt and walked with hubby to pick up son3… back home checked email and had a tuna sandwich… son2 asked if he could go online and I said you know the answer to that… “do his chores and homework”… of course he is thinking three day weekend, I have lots of time to do chores and homework… He huffed! I got Grumpy! yelling and lecturing by me and hubby… son2 went to his room to do homework… as quickly as it came my grumpiness was gone… Sheesh, did I not warn everyone when I got home that Chuck had come… I’m seven days early… everyone save themselves… but no, they like to live dangerously…

Hubby and I went to the grocery store… We are stocked back up for the time being…

Got the deli pizzas for dinner… Three for $21… and we watched Disney’s The Emperors New Groove… and now it is 9:40 already… son2 is asleep on the floor… son3 is fixing his water bottle with cold water… hubby is watching a lady paint flowers on TV… she makes it look so easy… son1 got to be supervisor today at work, of course haven’t seen him yet today, he is probably off with girlfriend or friends straight from work…

It was supposed to be 106 today but only got to 101 or so…  it’s down to 86 now… will be 101 tomorrow and then only 77 next Thursday… I noticed on the way home some of the trees are starting to change their leaves for Fall…

I am so tired…. and so ready for bed and sleeping in tomorrow…

September Second…

Today was a nice quick day at work… Got there early to help a coworker finish our weekly count… located shoes in the stockroom,went to lunch, prepared the signs for tomorrow’s ad, opened boxes and it was time to go home…

Hubby spent the day looking for places to apply online… he also got son3 to school, washed the dishes and picked son3 up… I got homework done with son3 and we read four Bernstein Books for his AR reading that he is behind this week… We are still only using what we have in the house for meals… so dinner was leftover, veggies, rice and chili… we also added a frozen macaroni and cheese dish, canned raviolis and pizza rolls… son3 also wanted corn dogs… tomorrow after I get home from work, hubby and I are going grocery shopping… we have not spent a penny yet since hubby was let go… we will also need gas in the car so I can get to work next week… and the van payment is due but it is the last one and the van is paid off…

Hubby got his unemployment papers today explaining his benefits… now we are waiting to see if his job will appeal or hopefully it was just ugly rumors he heard…

Son1 and girlfriend are off celebrating their anniversary… son2 said he talked to son1 earlier and he had already given her the ring right after work and she cried of course… will have to wait til this weekend probably to hear how their date went…

Son3 is watching Chicken Run and we are watching a couple of episodes of Star Trek Next Generation… showers have already been taken and we will be in bed early tonight… last night we stayed up til 11:30 watching The Back Up Plan, but it was good… and too funny…

I still need to finish cleaning up from dinner… we have all the fans going and the air set at 82… it got up to 100 today… I have 15 minutes of my latest True Blood to watch and hubby and I will probably watch a Bones while going to bed… son2 has to finish the last two McHale’s Navy on our current disc and then they both can go back to Netflix… tomorrow we are getting Balls of Fury for son1…

Today I ate: water, vitamins, green tea tablet… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… dinner~rice, chili, green beans, corn, macaroni and cheese, ravioli, 2 pizza rolls, cactus cooler…

September First

I am pooped today! Hubby and I were busy today…

I was up at 5:30, son1 off to work, son2 off to school… hubby was up, we walked son3 to school… son3 had a misstep and fell and skinned his knee on the way to school… so stopped at the nurse’s office for clean up and band aide… sent son3 off to class and walked back home… once home hubby gave me a haircut after breakfast… I set him up on the computer with places to look up for applying… worked on my entry for The Motivation Station… I’ve been doing laundry all day… still have all to fold and hang up… As hubby was applying online, I was getting alerts and emails for them that I would check on the laptop… Fixed us tuna fish sandwiches for lunch… hubby was still applying and I was watching Emergency and still finishing my TMS entry while helping hubby find more dates today…

Time to pick up son3 so walk back to school and back home… Hubby back online finishing up final application for the day… I did homework with son3… Got another email reply that sent us to another job search website finding anther place to apply at… So I filled it out quickly for hubby while he told me the answers and started dinner… I’ve lost track at how many places hubby applied to today…

Son2 got home from school and was supposed to be doing homework as son1 was on his way home and wanted son2 to go the mall with him… hubby found son2 playing video games instead of homework, son1 got home aggravated that son2 wasn’t ready… hubby reprieved son2 after a lecture and off son1 and son2 went to the mall…

Tomorrow is son1 and girlfriend’s one year anniversary… son1 ordered her an edible Hello Kitty fruit bouquet to be delivered to her work tomorrow… He and son2 went to the mall to look at rings, so she is getting a small diamond on a silver band… and he got her a card and rented The Back Up Plan which I am hoping to watch tonight before he takes it to her house tomorrow… He says she can take him out to dinner tomorrow…

Now hubby has been watching McHale’s Navy… son3 is still watching it and drawing pictures… son2 is in the shower… son1 is impatiently waiting for son2 to get out of the shower so he can take a shower… and son2 still has homework to finish and needs to print out his report…

We’re all up bright and early tomorrow to do it all again…

Today I ate: breakfast~shredded wheat, no milk, water vitamins green tea tablet… lunch~tuna fish sandwich, tortilla chips, cola… dinner~two corndogs, rice, chili, corn, green beans, water… popsicle…

Since we are back in the high 90’s to low 100’s I have the air conditioner back on and set at 82… still warm and muggy but better then the 84 it got up to yesterday with the windows open…

Off to get everyone settled so I can watch The Back Up Plan…

August Thirty First

Just a quick entry before I become a complete lump for the night… I had a vacation day today… I was up at 5am… son1 off to work, son2 off to school… hubby and I walked son3 to school… it was nice and cool this morning… this evening a bit warm at 84… hubby and I spent four hours on the computer this morning uploading and editing his resume for unemployment and career builder… even applied at one place at career builder… also got all the dates/phone numbers/addresses from the past twenty years for all resume and application needs… and hubby cleaned out a bunch of papers he came across…

I vacuumed, started filling the new bookcase with son3’s books, washed sheets and blankets, between hubby and I we got the dishwasher loaded and dinner made… and I did homework with son3 after we walked to pick him up… I spent time playing games at facebook which I need to just let go for right now… but needed a bit of vegging…

son1’s new plan of the day is that the company friend S works at is hiring drivers with just permits… so he would just have to pass the written driving test at the DMV and he could do all his training at his friend’s job if they hired him… so he wouldn’t have to go to truck driving school and wouldn’t have to get a part time job to go with his now full time job but of course would have to quit his now full time job as the driving job would pay more…

We watched a couple of episodes of McHale’s Navy… showers are done… and now watching Family Guy… We’re all ready for bed…

Today I ate: breakfast~shredded wheat-no milk, vitamins, water… lunch~chicken strip, rice, peas, tortilla chips… dinner~chicken, rice, corn, chili… yellow cake w/chocolate frosting…

August Thirtieth

Watching Wild Wild West with hubby and son2… son1 has gone off to bug son1 and girlfriend or keep girlfriend company as son1 is looking for original Jeeps that people want to get rid of for a couple of hundred bucks so he and his Papa can rebuild it…

I’m tired… I’m getting no where fast at work… yesterday and today I had small ads to set up… yesterday I stocked the sale tables and today I scanned my divisions… both days I am trying to put shoes away in the stockroom but because we have to locate them on the handheld it takes forever…

Yesterday afternoon I signed hubby up for Career Builders… today he spent five hours rewriting his resume so now we can put it on Career Builders and at the unemployment website… since it has only been in the 80’s I turned off the air conditioner (we’ve had it set at 80 anyway), opened all the windows and turned on all the fans… it was a bit hot in the night when I closed all the windows back up but not bad… we’ll see how we do on Friday when it’s back up to 102… we watched Evan Almighty and we were all in bed at 9pm…

Today son3 was up at 5am… I go in to work early again since hubby is home… so hubby takes son3 to school and picks him up and then I’m home to do homework… son3 has a cold today though… headache, stuffy nose, sore throat… hopefully he is able to sleep tonight after being up so early… he did his two pages of math homework and two pages of spelling homework ok tonight…

Hubby has also been trimming trees and cleaning out big garbage for our big garbage pickup tomorrow… not that anything is left after the guys in their big trucks going scavenging through the neighborhood…

Son1 and girlfriend have gone off to look at a Jeep that someone had on Craig’s list… son3 is off watching Family Guy… son2 and I are eating cake… I am still 23 pounds down… it is all about the portions, so far anyway… I was reading in a magazine that our plate portions have increased 66% since The Last Supper with Jesus and the Disciples…

I am off the next two days… I have so much to do… Help hubby with online resume posting, blog entries, housework, fix the books in the new bookcase that son2 finished, homework with son3, laundry, dishes, and watch True Blood…

Yesterday I ate: water, vitamins… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… chicken strip, tortilla chips… dinner~scrambled eggs, 2 toast, turkey burger (no bun), rice, peas, pasta, water… yellow cake w/chocolate frosting…

Today I ate: water, vitamins… lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… turkey burger on a bun, chili beans and corn… yellow cake w/chocolate frosting…

August Twenty Eighth Evening…

Well I got a few things done today… washed the towels and did two loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher twice, found a bunch of websites for printing center places for hubby to apply at, watered the plants, updated the checkbook, made a cake…

Son2 painted the shelves and played his video game and went online in between while they were drying between coats…

Son1 worked on his Jeep clutch all day… still a few things left to adjust but it is back together… tomorrow he is going to a baby shower for his cousin…

Hubby worked on this and that all day… moved all these pavers from the front of the house to the back temporarily since all our projects are on hold until we have some income coming in again…

Son3 played Heroscape all day and watched TV… surprised he didn’t play video games very much…

Holly finding a cool spot under the rose bushes… actually we are done with our 100’s for the week and back to the 80’s…

We are done with dinner and watching The Road to El Dorado, animated movie… I’m tired… and heading into my grumpy week… and trying to have patience with hubby… we will be fine one minute and then remember the next but not always at the same minutes… hubby’s fine most of the day though but then starts dwelling in the night and can’t sleep… Me, I go to sleep to escape… today everyone just seemed loud to me and hubby was talking all day… maybe I’m just thinking he is going to be here every day for a while, lol… I need quiet time already…

Tomorrow it’s off to work early, another ad to set up… think I have help…

Today I ate: water, vitamins… Lunch: chicken strip, Bugle snacks, cola… Raisinets… licked cake beaters… spoonful of peanut butter… Dinner: chicken, rib, peas, rice, water… and will have a piece of yellow cake with chocolate frosting before bed…

August Twenty Eighth

Yesterday was a sad day for me so didn’t feel like posting last night… I think I was past the initial shock and fight mode and the reality of everything hit me and I was on the verge of tears all day…

I was also unproductive at work… plus the handhelds were not cooperating nor were the batteries charging well… I did get the ad set and a few boxes opened and a lot of talking to supervisor…

Hubby got a lot of little things done around the house and spent over two and a half hours on the phone with ATT support… they even had to do research and call him back… they were stumped as to why the computer would not go online when we were online due to DSL, so nothing wrong on their end… but a Big Thumbs Up for ATT support… so when I got home we downloaded Internet Explorer and Firefox from the laptop… first tried installing internet explorer but still wouldn’t recognize anything so installed Firefox and TADA able to connect to the internet and see web pages… YAY!! so hubby put internet explorer in hide mode so no one will accidentally click on it and freeze up the computer…

I spent most of the evening on facebook just hanging out… Dinner was whatever you could find… son1 was off with friends after work so never saw him… We watched some more Wild Wild West episodes… son2 was catching up on his facebook withdrawals… and son3 was playing with son2’s Heroscape… after getting the boys settled in bed, hubby and I watched a Bones episode and I don’t even remember falling asleep…

Yesterday I ate: vitamins, water… Lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… chips… Dinner~chicken strip, baked beans, beef stew, 2 croissants…

This morning I am feeling better… Hubby is doing fine, but he knew about it longer than I did, so has had more time to adjust… Has plans for his resume… I paid the house payment for September… figuring out how we can live on my income, although half of my paycheck goes to medical benefits, til hubby gets unemployment or a job… keeping the little bit of savings we have for house payments…

We told son3 so he understands as best a 9 year old can… the biggest change for him is hubby will walk him to and from school to save on gas… the school is a five minute walk, lol… He is playing with the Heroscsape again this morning and watching cartoons…

Son2 is painting my black shelves white and has chores to do today… plus don’t know if he has homework this weekend…

Son1 has friends over helping him replace his clutch… so far they have broken the gear shift and now need to replace that too…

Hubby is working on cleaning up to get stuff out for our big garbage pickup next week… actually hubby would have been on vacation next week…

I have lots to do today!! Clean the kitchen, clean the bathrooms, laundry, wash rugs and towels, maybe wash sheets, go through my paper piles and update checkbook, hubby has unemployment to fill out, I’ve pulled out the phone books so we can look up companies in the area to apply at for jobs, water the house plants…

Ok, an hour later and I am back… hubby is now all signed up at unemployment and registered at their job search… now the rest is up to him to update his resume and fill out job applications online…

It is 12:30 already and I need to get busy and get some things done…

Good day at work today… helped finish counting the women’s shoes, opened boxes, went to lunch, got the signs ready for tomorrow’s ad, opened boxes, talked with supervisor, opened boxes…

Hubby was better when I got home as he had been to work to get papers and final paycheck… he also told son1 the news… son1 just got home from being with girlfriend… hubby got homework done with son3… I fixed some chicken tenders to go with leftovers… sink still full of dishes… I’m sure hubby will get them done tomorrow… with all his nervous anxious energy he will be getting lots done around the house… today and yesterday he has been trying to fix the main internet computer…

We have been watching more F Troop and The Wild Wild West… all these shows are from 1965…

It’s getting late… son1 and son2 have already gone to bed but son3 is still up… of course he is the last who has to get up in the morning… I have to be to work early too tomorrow…

Today I ate: Breakfast~Capn Crunch cereal, vitamins, water… Lunch~chimichanga, yogurt, cola… Dinner~chicken tender, rib, baked beans, carrots, rigatoni, beef stew, slice of wheat bread, water… just a bit of each as I pulled out all the leftovers… popsicle…

August Twenty Fifth…

Just finished eating dinner… Deli chicken family pack… watched an episode of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and now watching first episode of Season 1 of F Troop with Ken Berry…

Today was my day off… son1 went off to work, got son2 off to school, got hubby off to work, didn’t even get son3 up or take my shower and hubby was back from work… He lost his job today… stupid reasons… eleven years with the company… this past year, they have a new policy… three infractions and automatic termination… #1 a year ago he went to lunch late past the five hour period because he was busy with customers… #2 he told a secret shopper they couldn’t do something over the phone, never tell a customer no even if it’s really no… #3 told a secret shopper on the phone they did not sell rubber stamps, when they had just started selling them, he had forgotten… these three happened over a years time… he still has to go back tomorrow to receive his final pay and turn in his keys… doesn’t sound like a good plan to me, if you are let go, then every thing should be ready at that time, you are not in the mood to go back and see every one…

We have spent the day on a emotional roller coaster… and making plans… at least F Troop has distracted him for the moment and he is laughing…

I didn’t get too much done today… my entry for The Motivation Station for tomorrow… laundry… hubby helped with the dishes, still more to do… I watched Emergency on Retro TV but still haven’t opened my new DVD yet… homework with son3… son2 went with hubby to the store after school to get milk, dinner and talk about hubby’s job situation… no sign of son1 yet this evening… yesterday he worked on his clutch after work… he borrowed his dad’s truck til he finishes fixing the Jeep…

Son3 had math homework that he did on his own… spelling sentences that I helped him with… forgot his reading book… I forgot to mention that last Friday when he brought home his papers for the week… he got a 105% on his spelling test and a 90% on his math test…

Today I ate: Breakfast~frosted flakes with yogurt, water, vitamins… popcorn, cola, beans and chips… Dinner~3 chicken wings, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, green salad, roll, french fry, cream soda… 3 squares of Hershey chocolate bar… I’m full but not overstuffed… popsicle later… it was 111 degrees today and will be only 81 on Sunday…

son1 is home now, hot and tired from work…

Gonna have my popsicle, put away laundry and probably watch Season 2 of Bones with hubby…
