November Sixteenth

 

Today is my last weekend day off til next year…

Of course I’ll have two week days of instead, probably Wednesday and Friday…

No more early mornings but now I’ll have one to three closing nights…

Two weeks from today Black Friday will be over, but a busy weekend will continue…

It will be easy though as I’ll be back in footwear… Just keep those women’s fashion boots and men’s work boots moving to the floor and we’ll be good…

I have great plans of lots to do today!!

Hubby is already at work… the boys are awake, on computer and watching cartoons…

I need Christmas lists from them today and son3 has math homework…

I'm going to make this a blog as I get things done kind of day…

• master bath sinks and mirrors wiped down…
• entertainment center somewhat dusted and fall decorations put up…
• son3 math homework done…
• load of laundry done…
• boy’s bathroom sink and toilet wiped down…
• houseplants watered
• clear off dining room table…
• clean out work apron…
• clean out wallet…
• take out recyclables…
• vacuum front rooms…
• unload/load/run dishwasher…
• clear off island…
• take out more recyclables…
• open windows to circulate air, phew I’m hot…
• wash the pot and pans…
• wipe down the kitchen counters…
• have a snack and take a break to surf the web…
• fill out Thanksgiving cards while watching the ending of Bones that I fell asleep to earlier in the week…
• watch The Big Bang Theory…
• watch Glee…
• make pumpkin cream bundt cake…
• vacuum back rooms…
• wash out vacuum and filter…
• close windows, it’s chilly now…
• check the mailbox, someone had a fire in their fireplace and the moon is full…
• take out recyclables…
• watch Spooksville and R.L. Stine’s Haunting Hour (I know, kid’s shows)
• Hubby’s home…
• Leftovers for dinner: fish, salad, pizza…

November Fourteenth

 

I am running out of day off…

So we will have a photo entry of a stroll through the back yard from earlier today…

I am off to eat dinner of baked catfish, fried soy fish fillets, baked battered fish, tater tots, stewed tomatoes, black eyed peas and corn bread…

Tomorrow is my last day in kids department…

And my last day of having to be at work at 5am…

November Eleventh

 

Yesterday I got to work early at 5am to set the ad…

Yes, I talked to the store manager and told him I would do footwear…

Yes, I got a raise…

I start next Sunday on the 17th…

Got home from work and got hubby all caught up on the footwear news…

Then we went to Walmart…

Didn’t get home til almost 6pm…

So more soup for dinner…

While I was at Walmart the store manager called to let me know we were going in at 4am today so we could get stocking done early since it was a holiday and we couldn’t be on the floor when the store was open…

But since I went in to work at 4am, I got off at noon…

When I left for work, son2 was still up playing his game since he didn’t have school today… He went to bed about 5am and got up at 10:30am…

He came home Saturday night from dog sitting as son1 had to cut his weekend short as his work called him to work on Sunday…

When I got home today hubby was already at work, the boys were playing their games…

I ran the dishwasher, posted the bills, finished sorting the lemons into the totes for the garbage man tomorrow, washed the van, water the plants in the front yard, checked email, Facebook, cleared off the dining room table and put out my ceramic turkey… Had son3 try on the pants I got him yesterday… they are too big… maybe he’s not quite ready for men’s pants… But he’s almost out of boys…  And I did a load of laundry…

Now we are eating dinner… Hubby still won’t be home for a bit, so he’ll eat when he gets home… I made chicken patties, curly fries, creamed corn, pork & beans and macaroni salad… Then the boys need to get ready for school tomorrow… Showers and back packs ready…

I’m either too excited about the promotion back to footwear or I am buzzing from the Mt. Dew I have been drinking… I stayed up til ten last night, got up early this morning and I’m still going… Hubby’s been falling asleep before me… lol…

He’s been busy decorating the store for Christmas, so he’s been making some ornaments, decorations at home…

Son2 is picking his classes for next semester… His last classes for his GE… He just needs PE, Math and English…

Dinner was good… I’m full…
