I miss Vegas…
I wish it was closer just to have a place to walk around and see new sights…
I was off on Tuesday and got a bit of house cleaning done…
- Kitchen counters cleaned
- Sink cleaned
- Floor washed
- Island cleaned
- Dishwasher run
- Boys bathroom cleaned
- Cat litter box cleaned
- Laundry
- Water house plants
- Prescriptions ordered
- Son3 birthday present ordered
- Work pants ordered
- Vacuumed
- Maple’s boxes cleared out
Work is up and down as usual…
We’ve been working every weekend a month except for one…
My one is coming up soon…
Hubby has been going to doctor appointments for his finger and to the dentist… He has a reverse root canal coming up…
Son2 hung out with his friends all of Fourth of July weekend… and will soon be house sitting for son1 as he and DIL are going camping…
Son3 has been enjoying summer vacation and looking forward to his birthday…
I’ve been down and up and down… hormones maybe or just too much going on between work and home…
Hubby and I have been talking A LOT lately… I’ve noticed a lot of things about him since he has been home for three years now not working… some that he has always done and some new stuff that has come up due to not working and the cancer… nothing bad just too much time on our hands together or not enough going on that I have to add more stuff to the mix…
We’ve been watching lots of TV… I love my DVR… Plus it’s been so hot so we haven’t been going for walks… or working in the yard… so I go to work all day, make dinner and watch TV all evening… then try to do everything on my day off…
Last night the boys slept in the family room and of course they don’t get up before 11am so I didn’t get out of bed til 10am, just watching TV with hubby and playing on my phone… and talking………………
We had breakfast at lunch time and I worked on catching up on emails and Vegas pictures and Facebook, and now here it is dinner time and I’ve fixed lasagna with cheese bread and peas…
Back to work tomorrow and I haven’t gone through my binder to see what needs to be done this month… and clean out old papers and emails from work… I thought my new position would help me be more excited about work since I was burned out with shoes, but I think I’m just burned out with work…
Off to eat dinner and watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2… we watched the first one last night…
