Pictures from the fourth of July…
Hubby and son3 shooting off safe and sane fireworks leftover from last year…
We could also see The Island Waterpark fireworks from our driveway…
Lots of neighbors also shooting off safe and sane fireworks and then of course lots of neighbors shooting off illegal fireworks, some right over our house… could hear fire and police sirens throughout…
Son2 was off with friends for a BBQ and fireworks…
Back to work a whole week already after today…
I closed all weekend… Friday, Saturday, Sunday…
By Friday I was somewhat caught up from being on vacation…
Having a visit in the middle of the week didn’t help…
I’m still fine tuning my routine of my new job…
There is so much to do and having to balance between two departments – hardware/electronics and having less associates and hours then I had in footwear…
We are missing Vegas or just vacation time away… Wishing we had added at least one more day so we could have seen more without rushing…
Plus being back at work I haven’t even had time to sort through all the pictures and share…
And my house is a mess… I need to dust and vacuum and general straighten up…
And it has been so hot that hubby hasn’t been able to do yard work…
Hubby had an appointment for physical therapy for his finger… He has a cloth brace to wear to help with the swelling and bought some finger putty like mountain climbers use to strengthen their finger muscles… kinda like a stress ball… but putty…
Hubby also had a dentist appointment as he has been having a tooth ache that wakes him up… He has an infection and is now on penicillin… He goes back Monday as the doctor may have seen something else in the x-rays too…
Hubby is all cleared from jury duty and didn’t have to go in…
The boys have not even been on summer break for a month yet and it seems like they have been out forever… Which is good… I am not ready for school yet…
Son2 and son1 now have birthdays at the end of the month… So I will have a couple of days off… Son3 can not decide what he wants or what he wants to do except maybe have a couple of friends spend the night…
Time for breakfast and get ready for work again…
New ad set today and Craftsman days starts…
My co/lead texted me as she is sick and will not be in this morning with the team…
I’m sure the team will get the ad done before I get there…
And then I’ll spend the day fine tuning the ad…
Joyce Meyer Ministries
God will help you be who He designed you to be; He will not allow you to be someone else.
Being different is not bad; it is God's plan! We are all part of one plan, God's plan.
How wonderful it is that we may know the God of the Universe!
The only truly successful person in God's eyes is the individual who knows he is nothing in himself, but everything in Christ.
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
illness is often a sign that there are needs you are not taking care of.
Sometimes your body gets sick so that you are forced to slow down and become aware of the messages of your heart and the desires of your spirit. Only when you step outside from the daily treadmill, can you attune to these more subtle inner callings. Don’t wait to get sick before listening to these important inner messages.

It is good you're almost back to normal there. I think it does take a while to adjust. Vacations to seem to fly by. It's been hot here but yard work doesn't get done due to rain not the heat. It's still raining every day.Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
You stay busy lady. One thing at a time and you'll catch up. Sometimes I think one needs an extra week after vacation to catch up from a vacation, lol. Glad to hear your hubb's finger is on the mend. Just hurts thinking about it. My husband is exhausted from working out in the heat this morning and is now resting in what I call his "death man pose" in his recliner, lol. Hands across the chest with the remote control strategically placed within his reach and a tall cool one (soda) nearby. Don't ya just love summer? :-)
