The new baby cubs at our zoo in the above picture from Facebook…
They are only a couple of months old… They are only able to be viewed by a TV monitor at the zoo… but I still want to go see them…
Meanwhile I just worked the last six days in a row…
Finally a day off today…
And now it is over…
This morning hubby got the boys off to school…
We then had breakfast and watched two episodes of Haven…
I finally got the taxes printed correctly… I guess with the closure of the government it delayed taxes this year, so all forms were not available right away…
Sent hubby off to work…
Had lunch while playing with the Smart version of the smart TV… really nothing to do there as it seems each app I click on costs money…
Filled the birdfeeders…
Emptied the dishwasher…
Did two loads of laundry…
Picked up son2 from college…
Lectured both boys on responsibility…
Son2 only went to one of his classes even though he was at school for over seven hours…
Son3 forgot he had a test today in history… he got a C but what would have happened if he studied…
Lectured them on chores… and how to do them without having to be told all the time…
Of course I was frustrated with myself too as I don’t get all my chores done all week either but that is because I am at work…
Son2 only goes to school two days a week, still doesn’t drive and has only filled out a couple of job applications… he prefers to play video games and be on Reddit…
He is twenty years old…
Son3 did his science homework…
I did my paperwork from work…
I made catfish and potatoes for dinner… I forgot the stewed tomatoes… tomorrow with the leftovers…
I have been adding blogs to my reader… I don’t have time to read the blogs I do have… but now I have more…
I read some of my book today… Isn’t that a great book cover… A skeleton, a swing, a cat and a book…
My friend, you may recognize her too, has just put out her second book… I can’t wait to order it… It’s the first in a series she will be writing… and she designed the cover…
I am off this weekend…
My footwear audit is on Tuesday the fourth…
We are expecting rain for the next four days… I hope so…
I think I will go read in my book til hubby gets home…
But first check on the boys…

The more we focus on what's wrong the more we'll produce what's wrong.
Faith is having a positive attitude about what you can do and not worrying at all about what you can't do.
We don't grow when things are easy; we grow when we face challenges.
Don't let regrets and dreads steal your energy to live today. –Joyce
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
fear results from doubt.
When you are not sure, when you hope for the best, then you will fear the worst. When you are absolutely certain, even if it is a certainty of suffering, fear disappears, and strength flows in its place.
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
faith is exactly what it takes to get through uncertainty.
Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!

How nice with Lisa's book; I'll have to check it out. I do hope we get the rain forecasted, sounds like a good storm.
Not that I'm an expert on child rearing, LOL, but obviously son2's needs are being met, therefore he doesn't need to find a job or get his license, etc. Wonder if some of that was adjusted so his needs weren't met so easily he would be more motivated to try to get a job or his license?
I'm thinking you'll do good with the audit next week.

I have to echo what Betty said with Son2. My sister seems to be having the same problem with her now 25-26 year old son. It worries me with him though because he doesn't seem to interact or socialize at all, and barely with family now. All he wants to do is play out his video games. I think its an addiction where he is concerned. He works for them, so he's not really working since they have no contracting jobs coming their way. My husband lined up one job for them at his office and his father took the son home because he was getting "bored" and left my husband to be responsible for the remaining employees. It wasn't right. I would have told "Mr. Bored" you're keeping your happy you know what in place until this job is finished, but that's just me, LOL.
