Are you telling us you are about to be Grandma?
Are you telling us you are about to be Grandma?
I'm simply a grandma. After all that is what I am a grand 'ma' My mom wanted to be called Nanny and that was what she was to my kids...Whatever name you decide on it will be a wonderful one cause being a grandma is wonderful. # 21 now coming out way in August this year.
Wow, those are a lot of names! I thought the trendy ones were different, LOL.
Even though it doesn't list it under Polish, but my mom was called Baba, which was Polish for grandmother. We were having going to have the kids call hubby's parents Grandma and Grandpa, but one day when daughter was about 18 months old she saw a picture on display at our home of Grandma and Grandpa, but she called them "Meemaw" and "Papa" and the names stuck and that's what son who came three and a half years later called them too.
Its almost like trying to name a baby with picking what you want to be called as a grandmother, but I'm sure you'll find the right one for when it is time!
betty
