Luke 4:1-13
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
The devil said to him, If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.
Jesus answered, It is written: Man does not live on bread alone.
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours.
Jesus answered, It is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.
The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple, If you are the Son of God, he said, throw yourself down from here. For it is written.
He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully: they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Jesus answered, It says: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.
When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.
I almost left work an hour early today by accident… I was running all day getting things done but not what I had planned to do today… tomorrow starts our Mega Tool Sale and I had planned to work in hardware all day… but I always seem to end up back in Electronics… I did get some things done this morning for the hardware sale, went to lunch and then I had manager phone duty… I was done with the phone at 3pm and had planned to get two more things done for the day, one in hardware and one in electronics… I guess I finished the hardware one quicker then I thought plus I handled a customer situation and I thought it was time to go home already so I thought I would start the electronic project really quick and called hubby to let him know I was till picking up son2 but I was running late… and he said it wasn’t time to pick son2 up yet… I looked at the time and realized it was only 4pm, not 5pm… so I still had forty five minutes before I had to leave so I was able to get a bit more done and still left ten minutes late…
Son3 didn’t have any homework today except studying for spelling test and geology test…
Hubby made breakfast for dinner… scrambled eggs, hash browns, spam, corned beef hash and blueberry pancakes…
We’re watching Guys with Kids, Arrow, Supernatural and The Big Bang Theory…
I’m tired today… I’m sleeping longer through the night but still waking up too early before it’s time to get up and having to get back to sleep…
Tomorrow I close so I can sleep in a bit more even…

Spending time with God is the key to our strength and success in all areas of life. –Joyce
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
there are many truths, and they all point to one source - God.
Do not spend energy arguing whose truth is righter, - just like all life springs forth from one source, so are all truths but a reflection of God. Accept another truth as another way of loving God.

I always like breakfast for dinner, and I bet those pancakes were good! Been having a craving for them lately. Nice to see you posting regularly!

I agree with Betty it is nice to see your posts. Breakfast for dinner is one of my favorites. Sometimes it's a bowl of cereal with a banana. Pancakes are always a treat for me. When I do make them I try to wait till company comes. Hope you have a fantastic Friday!
