A Picture Day

I left for work this morning and there was a huge wonderful moon in the sky, but I had no camera... I turn onto the main street and there is a huge orange ball of a sun spreading colors across the sky, but I had no camera... All the leaves on the trees are finally changing to red, orange, yellow, but I had no camera...

The hormones are playing with me as it was a better day at work, plus I whined at the supervisor for a few minutes not that she will do anything about anything... She's going to another store for a couple of days next week to help them get ready for a visit... I put out the men's dress shoes and about half the work boots... It was a fast day and that's all I had time for, in between talking to the supervisor and answering questions for the customers...

On the way home the red, orange and yellow leaves were even more pretty against the hazy sky, but I had no camera... On the way home all the flowers in the neighborhood are blooming due to the temps being in the 70's, but I had no camera... On the way home I passed a city overflow pond covered with hundreds of seagulls, but I had no camera... Actually those seagulls have been there for weeks and one of these days I need to get a picture especially since it is in my neighborhood, lol, before the seagulls leave... and no I won't bring my camera in the car while I'm at work, as it could get stolen and then I would have no camera....

Now we're home and hubby works late, the boys have already finished their movie and we are grazing through the fridge... I have found more Christmas songs for the playlist, lol... I'm off tomorrow and thinking of what all I want to get done... Tonight Ghost Whisperer and Numbers come on... Smallville and Supernatural were so good last night!! All the other shows are taped and still in need of watching... The boys have a Veggie Tale movie to watch next and I have some Alien Nation movies to watch... Does anyone remember the TV show Alien Nation...
Happy Journaling...

That is sooo funny! Yesterday evening we went to eat with 2 other couples. I looked in the rear view mirror to the west and there was the most beautiful sunset! Really bright. Then a head of us was the moon coming up from behind a cloud. Amazing! The other 2 couples commented on it too. And of course... I did not have my camera!! Hope you have a great weekend. Blessings, Janie

sounds like all great picture opportunities; but you described them so well I had a mental picture of what they looked like :)

glad today was a relatively good day at work; hoping tomorrow will be an awesome "I don't have to go to work day :)"

There have been many times going to work and driving to the camper that I wished I were able to take pictues too. When we are driving it's pretty difficult to take a picture anyway. 'On Ya'-ma

I have had that same problem with tons of photo ops lately and no camera! I miss my little camera that I could easily carry in my purse!
I'll be here all weekend! :-)

I used to love that show, but it sorta freaked me out...especially when the aliens were attracted to the normal guy. In Illinois most of the leaves are gone, and it's nasty, windy and cold. I am doing the blogathon too, I must be nuts!

isn't it awful when you want to take a great pic and the camera is not with you?! at least work went fast. XO
