All the hoopla is not because I am back online and my laptop is fixed…
Its been fixed, I just have not had time to be online…
All the hoopla is because Son2 got the computer tech job with the school district!!
He found out yesterday!! Now he’s waiting to hear what to do next---paperwork, fingerprinting, TB test…
Plus we are wondering if he will get a morning or afternoon shift and which school he will be at…
Also he finally takes his driving test tomorrow to get his actual driver’s license…
I may actually cry when he passes…
But he won’t have a car quite yet as he still has to get a bit more money together…
So we’ll still be driving him to college at night in the fall semester as it’s too far to walk or ride his bike…
So we’re hoping for the job he gets a school close enough near us to walk or ride his bike until he gets settled in a car of his very own…
As we have jobs of our own to be at and may not be available to drive him every day of the week…
Meanwhile I am off today…
And have a lot of things on my list to get done…
So I am having a blogging day…
This morning hubby and I were up early to get to the grocery store as our cupboards were getting bare, well the fridge was anyway and we needed lots of hot dogs, buns and potato salad fixings for the baby shower this weekend…
I am on the second load of washing…
Son3 is XBoxing and Son2 is sleeping…
I am caught up on Facebook but not on Blogger…
Breakfast and Lunch Eaten…
Houseplants watered…
Birdfeeders filled…
Corn on the cob on sale 8 for a $1…
They were getting past their time…
But some sugar and butter in the pan will fix them right up…
As they are now boiling in the pan…
Son2 is awake…
Dishwasher loaded, not full yet…
Pots and Pans washed…
Email/Facebook break…
Laundry put away…
Son1 called looking for hubby and checking on baby shower status…
Email/Facebook break…
Boy’s bathroom wiped down…
Cat box cleaned…
Ran the vacuum through the house…
Birthday and 4th of July Decorations taken down and put away…
Will have to put Birthday decorations back up at the end of the month for son3 and son1 birthdays…
Pasta and meatballs simmering on the stove…
Mismate board for July made…
Yes I bring work home…
For every pair of shoes the associate puts back together in a box when cleaning after messy customers, adverts a mismate, so they keep track by tallies on the board and at the end of the month they win a $25 gift card… We just started in May as one of our action plans for our audit as we were high in mismates at the time…
Dinner break…
Pasta and meatballs, very good…
Dishwasher loaded and running…
S2H thank you cards written for associates with most online orders done for the month of June… and new cards made to start the July board… Yes I’m doing more work at home…
Mail gone through… Bills posted…
I finished everything but three things on my list… (July birthday cards, I have a few days before they have to go out; finishing getting the baby shower presents ready; and thank you cards for my birthday—definitely by Sunday)
The next two days will be spent when I’m not at work---boiling and peeling 20 pounds of potatoes for the baby shower…
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
living your life as good as you are able to, is good enough.
You don't need to be superhuman, and you don't need to be perfect. Simply live the best you can, and God will take care of the rest.

You must be having lots of people to that shower to make 20 pounds of potatoes. I've done 10 lbs before and know that is a lot of salad. It's all very exciting anyway. Soon that new little one will be here. What a busy day you and you certainly got a lot done.
Amazing at all you got done! Congrats to son2 for getting a job and I hope he passes his driving test today. Having the independence of a license might motivate him to save money to get a car! My gosh, lots of potatoes for that salad! Hope you have a bowl big enough to mix it in! Enjoy the festivities!

So Happy for son2...I'm sure he passed his driving test just fine:)
I can not wait to see pictures of the baby shower..so much fun.
You are always busy, busy...but you sure got a lot done:)
Have a great day,

So happy to hear son got job. Boy you're one busy lady hon. You manage to get everything done though. Goes to show you're a good organizer. Reading about your potato salad got me to thinking how long it's been since I've made one. Guess that is what I'll do this weekend. Take care dear heart. Love you much.
