April Fool’s Day today… Did anyone play any pranks or have any pranks played on them…
I had a very quiet day at work today… I was in a mood and not in the mood to be at work, especially since Tuesday used to be my day off and now Thursdays seem to be my new day off… So I was in day off mode today…
I did my reports and tried to get a couple of things done in the department but was getting no where fast… so I went to lunch and then made the schedule for next week… I then decided to work on all my online training that I’m 108 days behind in for the rest of the day… I got about half way done and the day was moving so slow… my boss stopped by at one time to let me know how to access the rating reviews on the computer, so I have this years rating reviews to do now this week too… I still had a half hour left so went back to the floor and talked with associates, made some sale PA announcements, delocated some shoes from the stockroom and then it was finally time to go home…
Does anyone watch How I Met Your Mother… Did you see the final episode… I did… I was so mad… I was so disappointed… Son2 was mad too… I was thinking we may have been able to accept the ending of the mother if they would have spread last night’s hour finale into the whole season instead of making the whole season the weekend of the wedding… I would have liked to see Ted with the Mother for the last season and then we could have met and bonded with the Mother and been able to grieve the ending instead of being given the mother and then having her whisked away… The show was on for nine seasons… Son2 said that was almost half his life to watch a show and then have it end so sadly…
Tonight hubby and I are watching some episodes of The X Files…
I made chicken patties on buns for dinner… with curly fries and creamed corn…

My boss and I traded jokes on one another yesterday! It was good to laugh.
I really didn't have any April Fools jokes at all yesterday. What a relief. I didn't watch that series at all and am glad I didn't after hearing about the finale.
I haven't really followed that show "How I Met Your Mother" but it is disappointing when a show wraps up and we don't like how it ends; I found that with LOST several years ago.
Hard to be in a mood when you are at work; but it seems like you managed to get through the day as best you could!
We are getting some needed rain this morning!
