On Saturday son1 and DIL came over for dinner… we bbqed hamburgers…
They came over to share what the grand baby to be will be…
On Friday they shared with DIL’s family and found out for themselves too…
When DIL had her ultrasound she told them to seal it in an envelope and not tell her since she was at her ultrasound without son1…
Then they brought the envelope to Party City and told them to open the envelope and whatever the results said to put that color balloon in this box, seal the envelope back up and they would be waiting in the parking lot…
So on Friday when they were at DIL’s mom’s house they also discovered the sex when the box was open… However being color blind son1 wasn’t sure if they were pink or blue when they came out as he see’s blue as pink… but everyone was saying it’s a boy so he knew too…
When they came over on Saturday they brought the box for us too… only two balloons were still inflated but it was enough to reveal the surprise…
Son1 is already picking out the camouflage crib bedding and little baby Carhardt and Dickie’s work clothes…
And now I can go through son1’s baby stuff I saved as he was born in July and the baby will be born in August so all the baby clothes will be in the right season to pass down…

And DIL has been posting her baby bump each week…
So fun and exciting…

How cute with the extent they went to keep it a secret until they were together with family! She's looking good! How exciting with a baby boy! Neat too that you kept clothes all those years!
