Lots of pictures in today’s entry… I still haven’t posted the pictures of the hike to Lewis Creek waterfall…
Yesterday was a good day at work…
I made a plan and stuck to it as best I could…
I did have an associate call out and another got pulled away to do other tasks…
I had planned since I was getting off early to come home, take hubby for a walk and make a nice dinner… but I got home at 3pm and then it was 5pm and son3 had homework and I heated up a pizza and pot pies and we watched Game of Thrones… and played games on our phones…
Today I was up early, hubby got the boys to school and we were off to the half price book store… I found eight books to buy and hubby found a Star Wars graphic novel for son3… I told hubby to put away six of my books for Mother’s Day… then we went to Walmart to get a few groceries… hubby and I went for a walk around the orchard and today I made pork with peppers, onions, celery, squash, zucchini all mixed in a teriyaki, honey bbq, soy sauce…
I had my white chocolate bunny from Easter tonight for dessert… We watched Brain Games, How I Met Your Mother, Mike & Molly, Two Broke Girls and now Castle…
Son2’s strawberries that he moved into the strawberry pot that I’ve had for several years from the boys…
Watermelons…
Repotted this cactus into a bigger pot…
Son3’s new cactus…
New cactus…
Son2’s new succulents…
Pumpkins…
Pumpkins…
Pumpkins…
Clouds from the backyard the other day…
It rained last night and sprinkled a bit today…
All the cactus on the front porch…
New goodies from Current catalog… stickers, patriotic yard decorations, anniversary cards, birthday cards, note cards, thanksgiving cards, Christmas thank you cards…
Pictures below are from our walk around the orchard today…
They plowed the orchard recently for fire control…
Joyce Meyer Ministries
As children of God, we must love others as God loves us.
Don't ever be too prideful to ask for help. Asking for help when you need it is the wisest thing you can do.
Each time we act to improve the life of another person, we send forth a ripple of hope in what appears to be a hopeless society.
Choose to place yourself and your circumstances in God's hands today.
What would it be like if every Christian would purposely do at least one kind act for someone every day?
When you come to Christ, you need to give Him everything you are and especially everything you are not.
Don't live life comparing yourself to everyone else. God has created you to be you and you are free to be yourself!
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
you can conquer your fears.
When fear is holding you back, don't give up. Even the bravest people feel afraid. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the will to go on in spite of it.
Today, Linda, we believe God wants you to know that ...
some struggle is inevitable.
No one is promised a life which is free from pain, sorrow or grief. It does not mean that anyone walks through these things alone. Have faith and know that all suffering is temporary.

I just got home from my trip yesterday and we were blessed with some blue skies here too. Most of the time I was gone it rained there but was sunny here at home. Glad you did get some rain there. Your pork dinner sounds good all mixed together like that. I love the half price book store and took many of my books there and sold them last year and bought a few more too. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
Glad you had a nice day:)
I love that the boys are interested in growing things..that is so cute..
Thanks for sharing the pictures. They're always great and make your blog so interesting..
Hope you have a great day:)
