How was everyone’s April Fool’s Day… Any pranks…
Last night we had a bunch of lightening and thunder… hubby went outside to see it and I went to bed to read my Max Lucado book and the next thing I knew it was 4:28am and time to get up… I think I fell asleep by 9pm…
No pranks at work today that I heard of… It was another fast day… I had lots of helpers today and had everyone on task so much that I wondered what I was going to do… Of course the day swept me up and I had lots of manager things to do… By 1:30pm I was thinking OK, I have three more hours, what else should I do… It was about ten minutes later that I realized that I go home at 2:30, not 4:30… I almost stayed at work too late, forgetting I went in early… I did stay a bit later talking with my co supervisor as she will be out on a trial for jury duty for the rest of the week…
Came home and took hubby for a walk… yesterday on our walk we saw a bunny in the orchard… Also a couple let their dogs out of their car and they shot across the orchard like the wind… as the couple was walking they were calling… I’m thinking those dogs are gone and not coming back for a bit… it was then that we realized that she was calling her pet goat… it was all white and cute but crying and not moving as it seemed scared and lost and calling for it’s Maw: the lady that was calling to it… Today we saw the bunny again… Today I got in over 8500 steps at work and over 14700 by time we were back from our walk…
Leftover ham again for dinner… yummy… I’m going to make split pea soup in the morning… We are watching Emergency now… I’m getting tired and I have a bit of a headache… A day off tomorrow!… I just had some carrot cake… there’s only one slice left… Hubby and I really need to keep up with the walking… Hubby got a letter from unemployment today and he is extended once again… I really need to update the blessing jar… I’ve gotten a bit behind… Good thing I have been blogging everyday…
Time for a bit more TV and then sleepy time…

I've been eating leftover ham for a week now and decided the remainder goes in the freezer. Glad your hubby got the extension, it is better than nothing. You are blessed to have that place to walk at. Strange about the pet goat though. Hope your day off is a wonderful one! Have a terrific Tuesday!
