We've been getting lots and lots of rain this spring which is very good with our water shortage... and the roses are loving it except they have bloomed so well that they are too heavy with blooms and then the water too... So today I had to do some major trimming all around but mostly to this one... above is the before shot....
After shot... and we are expecting more rain again in the coming week...
More than enough blooms to fill vases for in the house... two for the dining room table and one in the family room...
Son2 is back to cleaning his room today... well in between his brothers distracting him and making hubby and I lemonade while we were working in the yard and now as he was looking for the tape measure he has been distracted by the cartoons that son3 is watching...
can you see hubby through the window mowing the yard...
the sorting continues...
cleaning out books for son3 to read... Danny saw a Wishbone book that he liked...
and then he decided to rearrange the furniture... the rest of it is in the hallway....

Looks like you had a super busy day. Those roses are the same color I just finished pruning. I haven't got my pictures together though!
LOL with son2! it sure is keeping him busy trying to sort out and re-arrange
bet the flowers smell so pretty!! amazing how much you trimmed from that rose bush! and you are right, we have gotten lots of rain this year!

The roses are gorgeous! Glad you are getting some much needed rain, we need some too! Looks like son 2 is making progress and you have no idea how envious I am seeing your hubby working outside - ack!
